utterfly fab, car of my dreams...incredibly rare, 49 convertibles only were ever built!It was described by the UK Press as "Blood and Thunder motoring"...how appropriate
Handier, shall we say, for anyone who wants a GT Cobra. Yes, it's got more legroom and is much more comfortable than a Shelby Big Block Cobra roadster. It's a GT, not a race car. It'll still leave other GT's of it's era in the dust. Not just acceleration, but handling as well. Fully independent coil-sprung suspension, rack and pinion steering, etc.
As for the engine, it is tuneable. As for Emma Peel, Diana Rigg has graced the passenger seat of this car. Not that thats appropriate to this video
Handier for, shall we say, more portly chaps, who, when sat in Cobras are reminiscent of a cuckoo chick wedged into the nest of a warbler. 345BHP is enough for most but I dare say the 7 litre engine in this could stand a fair bit of tuning. I think these were very classy cars indeed. Remember Tara King drove a coupe model in The Avengers ? Looking back, I'd do her, but as I had a childish crush on her predecessor, namely Emma Peel, I saw TK as an usurper, and therefore as mere dogmeat.
For some reason I've never been quite sure of, this is my favourite car. The lengthening of the chassis must have tamed it a little from its unruly Cobra roots, but not sure about the basic chassis design. Nevertheless, a fabulous car with only a few sortable problems, such as cooling. The convertible is stunning too. The AC 98 of the same family is also a very interesting car- ran at Le Mans against its lookalikes- the Daytonas. Great video. Music not too intrusive either.
Great car! But please, less violin, MORE exhaustsound!!!

@RM1971able
Sorry about the music. It cant be brought down without removing the video completely.
I'll be doing another one - this was my first ever effort - and I won't repeat my mistake.

Just an all-round great video. Looks wonderful when run on a large panel. Most impressive, with outstanding production values . * * * * *
