regarding 23:00... By the irregularity inherent in the universe, clouds of gas congeal together and form pockets of more massive areas. The gasses start spiraling toward the center due to the force of gravity.

The cloud starts flattening it out. It's the same effect as spinning a ball from a string, or clay on a turntable.

At the center, it becomes dense enough that fusion begins, creating a star. The planets form from the surrounding gasses.

You want it vertical, film it sideways.

@yum438 There is no order as each ff game starts with new characters (except for the sequels to X and XIII) and the only thing you may not understand is a few references to previous games in the series, but they are hardly noticeable. There ya have it, a non biased explanation. Enjoy whatever one you decide to play.

Here goes a reccomendation for next LP: Seiken Densetsu 3 for SNES. It's part of "of Mana" series. It was released after Secret of Mana, but unfortunately never make it out of Japan, but have an excellent fan translation.

It seems perversions happen in every game, even this one! Japan always had funnier video games, which get toned down for the USA, which sucks, but at least we got the game. On that note, It was so much fun watching this LP! Can't wait for the next one!

As much as I loved the lore of FFIV i've never had the will to play the game. Thanks to this LP, I had this uncontrollable urge to buy the complete collection for the PSP and plan to widdle my way through the game and enjoy it to the fullest.

Thank you so much for such an enjoyable LP sir, and lighting the fire in me to play through this game to the fullest. I know it's going to be incredibly enjoyable. Especially the After Years that i've know nothing about atm.

Zemus is a weird enemy. You only find out about him at the end of the game. It's very un-final fantasy-like.

FF1: You don't find out about Chaos until the last 5 mins of the game

FF8: You don't find out about Ultimecia till towards the end of the game

FF9: Necron isn't even mentioned until the very very end

FF10: You find out about Yu Yevon very late as well.

I've never beaten 2, 3, 5, 12 or 13 so I don't know if there's any examples in those games, but probably.

@RockBanned To argue a bit, you meet Chaos as the first boss on FF1, but you don't know what happened till the end, I haven't played 8 or 9 (believe it or not) so I can't say and with 10, you don't meet Yu Yevon, but you find out about it a heck of a lot sooner than you fins out about Zemus.

2 - the enemy is always know from the beginning, 3/6 - same, 5 - you find out about quite quickly. I haven't played 11 - 13 either, so I can't say.

With respect to the planet thing you mentioned it is very unlikely another planet exists within a reasonable distance that we could inhabit. The temperature is not the major thing but instead the atmosphere, most Earth like planets have an atmosphere filled with CO2 and consequently unsuitable for life.

NCS, I have a few suggestions... There's no good Let's Play's of Legend of Zelda The Minish Cap. It's really good, but very underrated. If you would need any help, I'd be happy to help cuz I've completed that game about 10 times.

Another suggestion is Mario & Luigi: Partners in time, but that's really just a nother So Happy LP. Also, that game is freaking long as hell. I'm 10 hours in without failures and I'm not even close to the end.

Well if you think about it, the planets moving horizontally around the center is just a matter of perspective. That just so happens to be the way we're used to seeing it represented. But if you're out in space, where there's no gravity pulling you in any direction, which way is down? Or if you're on Earth, which way is down? The direction to the center of the Earth. So "down", is therefore relative to where you are on a planet, and therefore the planets are rotating vertically/horizontally/diag.
