  • love how people are 'terrified of hallucinations'.. just go to fucking sleep, nothing good comes from this

  • @steadling9 True, but it's something to do if you're curious. Hallucinations can be terrifying at times. Seeing shadows moving and no one is around, hearing sounds and voices that don't happen, those can be terrifying.

  • I get tentacle bugs when I take too much benadryl... a cobweb in my room totally freaked me the fuck out and turned into like a twitchy dying spider thing... I fell asleep after taking 600mg benadryl and woke up like an hour later to a huge ass motherfucking orbweaver on my cieling but it was just like a speck that I was tripping the fuck out on

  • @Polaf3456 try 1250 mother fucking mgs...i dont consider myself a druggie...but it changed me. its pure delerium is all it is...embrace the hallucinations. let them spin!

  • I'm trying to do this and see how long I can stay up...its so hard though when my bed is right next to me! What kind of things do you recommend to stay awake longer?

  • @PaintItBlack11 Stay active and never lay down. Watch some movies or create something , anything to stay active.

  • sleep deprivation is like a really long acid trip but the hallucinations are worse in some cases, like i got chased by my own shadow for like 3 hours in my backyard at like 2 am and i fell and crawled back to the door because i thought it was gonna get me. then again i might just be weird. i dunno

  • how many days in total did you go without sleep? and if your on anti psychotic medication can you still hallucinate with lack of sleep:?

  • Were you able to go to sleep ?

  • i think the worst thing is the paranoya....

  • i'm doing my own study, the only thing i'm woried about are hallucinations, when will they start to kick in and how can i stop them? (i'm already 1 day in)

  • @SuperHazard2 Hallucinations start to appear at about 3-4 days. There really is no way to stop them, just don't stay in a room alone in the dark to long. Being active helps to reduce them but they are going to happen sooner or later. In my personal experience the hallucinations aren't that bad, but then again they can be relatively scary.

  • Is this the last video in the sleep deprivation series?

  • @bougainvillea123 Yes, because I didn't have the energy or sanity to keep recording.

  • lol "so you don't fall while sleeping" 4:25

  • @vortical911 Ha ha! Yeah I was getting delirious and scrambling words.

  • wow, crazy stuff! I'd like to try this sometime but I'd have to find a stretch of time where I didn't have to drive or anything because that would certainly be unsafe. So did you stay awake for a full 96 hours or did you sleep for 5hrs. in between? Is there any footage from the end of the experiment?

  • Man, I got up at 6:00AM and now it is 2:15AM the next day and I'm visually hallucinating already. Everything moves very slightly like water almost.

I also keep seeing black shadows of people out of the corner of my eye. I sometimes start to do something and then stop and forget what I am doing. I'm not going to say it is a bad feeling, but it is pretty cool. I heard that people used to use sleep deprivation to gain access to spirits in the astral realm and talk to them.

  • Yeah I had the same type of visuals and also saw this black shadow people. By the end of it though I went insane. I was fighting with my subconscious. My subconscious was trying to gain control over my whole body and become dominate. I was running around talking to myself and would start randomly speaking to objects. It was crazy. I think I took a lot from it though.

  • Sleep deprivation is pretty insane. I am not going to tell you it is fun because that would be the wrong word, maybe interesting? I have stayed up for 2 and 1/2 days before with the help of amphetamines and by the end of the 2 days I was horribly paranoid, hearing music playing in my room, and had a horrid time getting to sleep at the end of it all.

  • I felt the experience to be rather disorenting and insane.
