It's not bad if you skip to half way through the song, but then there's not a lot different from this than the original besides the drums and maybe a few simple overlays. @isplint well, there are many things apart from 'just a beat' put to this song. Sidechaining, effects such as ping-pong delays and echos, more strings and brass added, as well as EQing. It was a quick remix to make, but more than simply putting a beat to it.

@sutton513 that may be the case, but as long as it sounds like it's the same thing with a beat put in the background it generally won't blow anyone away, especially if the "beat" is techno dance sounding while the original song is a classical melancholy song, two heavily contrasting styles.

@TownPiligan Classical songs are heavily used in dance/electronic/techno music, despite them being in big contrast of eachother. I didn't intend this to be groundbreaking, it was a very quick remix to make (probably took an hour all together). The original is fantastic, way better than my remix, but I just wanted to give another take on it, something faster. It's weird how it is always videogame remixes that get slated...probably all of the fanboys. If you don't like it, don't listen to it =)
