Being a Raptors fan, I remember Antoni Davis way back when he was with the Indiana Pacers teaming with a prime Reggie Miller and forming the "Davis Brothers" along with Dale Davis. Not to mention that Pacers team has a big front court with the Rik Smits in the middle.
The play at 1:30 is just beautiful. I was a huge Pacers fan back in the day, and still am but I never realized how lucky we were to have Mark Jackson. He was seriously gifted. I can watch his highlights for hours.
I renember watching him in a Raptors uinform thinking he woud be an all star. If it wasn't for his peace of shit wife, he woud still be here throwing two handed monster dunks over opponents by now
shoulda seen him in college at UTEP...had about a dunk a game. he, tim hardaway and greg foster took out LSU and then Chris Jackson in the 1st round of the NCAA tourney.
Can you believe those Pacer teams never won a championship. Look at the roster
Starter: Mark Jackson (one of the 5 top passers in history), Reggie Miller (Future HOF), Derrick McKey (All-defensive team), Dale Davis (all-star), Rik smits (all-star): Bench: Antonio Davis (all-star), Sam Perkins, Jalen Rose, Chris Mullin (HOF), Al Harrington. That roster would make 2 playoff teams these days.
dude hakeem only played for the raptors for one year and he was about to retire the day he put on his raptors uniform. he wasn't the dominate centre they wanted him to be when he came to toronto
I just saw him earlier today at opening ceremonies for aau girls' basketball nationals. some girls on my team got their picture taken with him. His team is really good and I bet they win it!
Go UTEP. Antonio was a great player for Haskins. I played one pickup game with him at Memorial Gym. I just stood around and watched him and a couple of Miners play. They were pretty impressive up close. I think Tim Hardaway was there as well. I just kind of stayed out of there way. lol.
haha he DOES look like Dr. Dre

Antonio Davis...Greatest jump shooter from that one spot two steps to the right of the top of the key LOL. He would nail that shot all day.

the greatest defensive player the Raptors had. his team record for blocks still stands, Bosh is the only one behind him.

ad with the pacers was good. the davis brothers owned together but it always seemed to me that ad always got poked in the eye...EVERY game. haha
dellis3344 3 years ago
hahaha, oh man, i had a joke with a friend back in the day, everytime one of us got poked in the eye playin ball we'd call it the antonio davis.
that, and his ridiculously slow two-footed power jams were his trademark moves for the raps.
