YouTube was actually a fantastic creation at first, but now it has gotten cold. For every useful video there are thousands of useless ones wasting space and bandwidth. Now corporations took hold and censorship and ownership rights (though they should have videos up under Fair Use) runs amok. Another creation squandered. I was here before Google took over, but it's not the same anymore. Besides, Dailymotion has superior service though not as popular.
I'm talking about since the turn of the new millennium began. Some of the productions that were created in the first ten years of it are still going on now, that's why I just included the latter. The Weakest Link was just another stupid game show that tried to take ratings away from Millionaire. You could share some of your experiences instead of nitpicking other people's comments like a pompous bitch.

i miss the 90's was the best decade ever. best part of the 90's for me was the sega dreamcast in the late 90's and the music during the 90's which to this day has not been equaled. just wish i would've slowed down and enjoyed the 90's more.

@2000isawesome I feel like, with all the great technology of the new millenium, there is now a kind of distance between people. probably because I'm older and I see things differently. what I mean is, back in the day, before cellphones, iPods and IMing, strangers would be more likely to talk in public... before google, people would have to ask each other for help, before AIM, people would have to get together in person... now the world is connected online, but just as anonymous acquaintances....

@sega31098 I remember when everything used to be cheap back then. Candy bars were just $0.50 cents back then. Gasoline used to be less than a dollar. Clothes were better and cheaper. Television was more entertaining than what it is now. Music used to be good back then and there used to be alot of bands playing and DJ's at clubs used to play better music. Security was not that tight until after the attacks of 9/11. I miss those times.

There's no really such thing as a true 90s kiid unless you were born in 1987, considering your memory starts around that time (when you`re around 3). Your childhood ends when your 13 generally. If you have memories of other years you're more or less a hybrid.
For example, I remember 1997 and my childhood ended in 2007. So I'm more or less a hybrid. You\re a pure hybrid if you're born in 1992, considering your childhood probably lasted 1/2 in the 90s and 1/2 in the 2000s.

In the 90s the technology realy boomed . I think in the early 90s ( 1990 - 1992) computer games and films are looking a bit primitive. In the mid 90s ( 1993 - 1996) the technology envolded. mobil phones started to come and pc games had better graphics. In the late 90s (1997 - 1999) pc games are much better. mobil phones and internet became popular. and most movies are looking a bit new even today. like saving private ryan "1998" looks "new"

@sega31098 I remember when everything used to be cheap back then. Candy bars were just $0.50 cents back then. Gasoline used to be less than a dollar. Clothes were better and cheaper. Television was more entertaining than what it is now. Music used to be good back then and there used to be alot of bands playing and DJ's at clubs used to play better music. Security was not that tight until after the attacks of 9/11. I miss those times.

the 90's was the greatest time ever. didnt have to worry about high gas prices, bills, whether your parents would have a job or not. didnt have to worry about wars and crazy people blowing things up or global warming or 2012. it was just chill.kids could actually be kids. the most u had to worry about was wat time u had to be home. man i really miss those days. skating with my best friends all day and just siting back and having a good laugh. FUCK i wish i had a time machine

There's no really such thing as a true 90s kiid unless you were born in 1987, considering your memory starts around that time (when you`re around 3). Your childhood ends when your 13 generally. If you have memories of other years you're more or less a hybrid.
For example, I remember 1997 and my childhood ended in 2007. So I'm more or less a hybrid. You\re a pure hybrid if you're born in 1992, considering your childhood probably lasted 1/2 in the 90s and 1/2 in the 2000s.

In the 90s the technology realy boomed . I think in the early 90s ( 1990 - 1992) computer games and films are looking a bit primitive. In the mid 90s ( 1993 - 1996) the technology envolded. mobil phones started to come and pc games had better graphics. In the late 90s (1997 - 1999) pc games are much better. mobil phones and internet became popular. and most movies are looking a bit new even today. like saving private ryan "1998" looks "new"

@MrDBZ920 I don´t think those born in 1991 are that high up from me ( me born early 1992 as I said before). I have a cousin born in mid 1994 and we share a lot of memories from ´98 and ´99. My other cousin was born in late 1997 and we don´t have the same childhood! we don´t share any memories form the 90s. I think its stupid if you are born in 1990 and 1991 and think those born in 1993 and 1994 are stupid little 00s kids. I can understand if they don´t want to talk with someone born 1996 up.

But I think that 2002 is the border between the 90s millenium culture and the real 00s culture. I even there is a big difference between 2002 and 2004.´02 is more millenium culture but it´s definalty the start of the 00s era too. A year with (2) or (7) at the end are culture borderline.

I think the culture in the 90s was a bit different during the 10 years. I think 1990 - 1991 was still like the late 80s . 1993 - 1994 was the real 90s culture. 1995 - 1996 was the real 90s in an envolved way. And 1998 - 1999 was the late 90s millenium culture. 1992 + 1997 are "transition" years. in 1992 the 80s style still existed until mid ´92 and then slowly changed into 90s culture late in the year. In 1997 the 90s culture faded away in mid ´97. it changed to millenium culture late in ´97.
