I love dogs, but I personally have fear issues of samoyeds, because of a violent attack on the child I was playing with when I was about 8. He rippped the boys ear off in front of me. I don't try and get them banned though. I've seen poorly socialized/trained/bred dogs, of all sizes, ranging from mix to purebreds. And I hate to say it, but the majority of problem dogs I've seen are the pitbull breed & their mix. I don't blame those who want them banned. PB owners have work to change opinion.

I generally agree with the idea of getting animals neutered. However, responsible people can choose not to neuter. They can monitor the dog to prevent unwanted pregnancies. As for cancer: we could prevent human cancers, too, by removing the sexual organs before puberty, but we don't.
