If they are neglected, abused and unloved by their own families, and if Social Services can't put effort in to their jobs to save their fragile bodies, then what happens to them? They're murdered, and even then, Social Services can't pick up the pace and improve themselves as Human Beings.
Even after this tale of disgusting abuse, Haringey Social Services did not improve. 10 years after the murder of this innocent little angel, another child's life was taken, this time a baby's.... Peter Connelly. And Social Services also had 60 chances of saving the gorgeous boy, but did they? No. Baby P was murdered, his little soul lived through 9 months of torture in which he suffered broken ribs and a broken back, and where was the help of this child? Nowhere to be found.
What I dont understand is if these people don't want the children why not give them up to people who would love and care for them. It is such a shame that this happens to such innocent little children.

We listened to an assembly about Victoria Climbie and I decided to have a look further into her life. It's sickening to see and hear that people do that. I wish sexual and physical abuse would stop, but it won't. Not for a long time. She was an extremely good student. The teachers all agreed on that. So dear Victoria Climbie, Rest In Peace.

They certainly did not, a huge number of people failed her, including the police CPT's, the Medical personnel at both the hospitals she visited, and not one but four Social Service boroughs. I was at the Inquiry into her death, almost every day. It was the most awful thing I had ever heard. Let us hope the ramifications of her death will go onto to save other childrens lives.
