  • You spent $25 dollars and may have saved others tens of thousands. I applaud you and am glad people like you are taking the time to let others know the facts.

  • :D

  • You sir, are todays HERO! - Good investigating! :)

  • Dude, i've been skeptical about these things ever since i heard of them. I read an interesting article on csicop.org about it too. It pretty much said it was a sales gimmic that used the same marketing techniques as other fads like, q-ray wristband for golfers and perfect water. It's success relies completely on the subjects gullibility and laziness to research the product. Awesome comment about the thetans by the way. That was hilarious! Just realized you're from SD! Represent! Haha

  • Facebook the placebo for life!

  • @vaguilar87 That is a great line. I will post that on my Facebook page... hahaha. Seriously though, I shut mine down over two and a half years ago, and guess what? I am still alive and functioning, and I still know what the key people in my life are doing. Go figure.

  • Magnets man! How do they work!?

  • where'd u get yr jacket?

  • @MicNarcolepsy Oh, sorry I did not see this. G-Star is where I got it. I love that place.

  • Do a blind test. Power balance holograms are nothing but a placebo and it's easy to prove.

  • but you already bought one... so they won anyway

  • dude shut up your a HATER!

  • @drek760 And you were making a living by scamming people. Just get an honest job and we'll all be friends again.

  • @drek760 The term "hoodlum" is appropriate in this situation. I am not judging, I am stating a fact. Assuming you are one of the guys that gave the demo, each of your were knowingly deceiving people into buying a worthless product. Your second sentence makes no sense. Is it supposed to be a question?? -- Let me address that "American/Mexican" nugget of wisdom in another reply ---

  • @drek760 You're asking me not to judge anyone, then in the second half of that sentence you judge me? Let me get this straight, 'typical Americans' like to sew the Mexican society? That would take a large sewing machine. I assume you mean screw? Please humor me in explaining how any of this has to do with 'Americans getting what they want', and 'the Mexican society'? If there is a typical American (which you make out to be something negative), is there a 'typical Mexican'? I am all ears...

  • @ihcbands do you even know what a fucking ion is? LOL

  • It works ... I was a doubter , saw a friend in the mall so I did him a favor by buying one . I been trying to make myself fall all day and no dice ...im over 250 lbs and did my first handstand pushup just to wing it ... WOW . Its probably more mental than anything , but its not like we know everything . There are alot of unseen and undiscovered forces in existence .I can do the splits without it but i just feel an overall well being when i wear it . My brother broke his I tied it to my new one !

  • If you want the bracelet just for the looks, u can get one at sindeal.com for 1.99. they are fake but they look EXACTLY the same. plus powerbalance doesnt work anyways.

  • I like your video.I work in a garage and i saw someone wearing one and I asked him if they really work. He did the tests on me and with the bracelet on there was a difference. He didn't try to sell me anything he took his bracelet back and drove off. I don't know what the heck to think. Please help. They're expensive but it seemed like it made a difference. Thank you.

  • @hcgrace1966 Thanks my new friend. As I mentioned in this sea of comments. Power Balance in Australia has all but been shut down. They were forced to fess-up that there is nothing scientific going on at all. Just search youtube for vids that reveal better on how these tests are done. Very revealing. You can do a test back with your friend. Tell him that you want to do these tests three times. Have him place something in your pocket each time, but only once with the real bracelet. :)

  • @hcgrace1966 Oppps. I got the test backwards. You need to ask your friend to conduct three of the same tests. On one of the 3 you will wear the bracelet. Do not let your friend know this. You can then see if the bracelet makes any difference on the test that you wear the bracelet on.

  • negative electrons that charge the negative ions blah blah blah. if u allow ur mind to have an excuse to perform at a better level they work. The whole point was to trick your mind that a band that u dont know whats inside of it or where it comes from can do all these things. when u first do the test u r expecting to fail and in doing so u did fail when ur given the band u expect to succeed. thats the secret of the powerband no trick from us employees. thank u

  • @baseballis76 These tricks have been shown all over youtube. There is nothing to them and can be reproduced by anyone, even if you tell them they are tricks. The effects of the mind come after the purchase, not before. The customer has to be deceived first. High school kids are as gullible as the customers. If they can't read it on a text or play it on the latest DLC of Call of Duty then anything goes. I will have to give him credit for having a job though. That is more than most can say.

  • Alright. I will tell the whole truth about these things. I worked at this specific kiosk in the north county mall. the man who was telling u the science is a high school kid named Vafa. What we did at this kiosk is do the test the same exact way both times. the way these work is that they r in your mind and ur mind has an excuse to have more self confidence and to perform at a higher level of ability. We went into science about the band holds titanium oregon that is charged with the

  • Idk I was skeptical when this guy who owns one did the tests on me and I wasn't quite sure what to expect after the test I was convinced. I think my ultimate test will be during capoeira and try my handstands

  • If it didn't work why did your ballance and strenth improve after he put his bracelet on you .

  • Well cool! That made my day. :) That is the first time I have heard "thank you" in months.

  • LuxMaji, thank you, thank you. You just saved me $100.00 a was going to replace mine and buy other three for my family. Thanks again. Good job!

  • LuxMaji, thank you, thank you. You just saved me $100.00 a was going to replace mine and buy other three for my family. Thanks again. Good job!

  • smart dude smart its a bunch of bull i have 100 of them at home

  • id make a bunch of money if i sold these for 25 even

  • @Mw2Ps3Freak12 I would go for 24.99... That would be more appealing. :) Maybe get a bunch of 'live strong' wristbands and then place stickers on them. You could then tell people that they will make them stronger...

  • ok well guys i sell these wristbands they are FAKE i have 100 of them in 11 different colors they are fake its a mind game i sell them for 5 bucks thts it it just looks cool they are dumb i tell the truth they are fake

  • @Mw2Ps3Freak12 Still way overpriced, what is that a 500% mark up? Plus the more in circulation probably helps them sell more just in terms of free advertising, for an even worse markup. Either way, get a real job and sell something of some value.

  • Just in! Power Balance has been hit hard by the Australian government. Power Balance has issued a statement on their website that admits that they have been misleading people. Also they state that there is no scientific evidence that their product works. They are offering a full refund to anyone that owns their wristbands. Search it out and see for yourselves. This is good news and the beginning of the end for these types of products. Go back to the rabbits foot.

  • I can tell a difference when I take the bracelet off and put it back on. It's a feeling that I can't explain. I just got home from work and I was exhausted and when i tried the bracelet I started feeling energized. Really weird but i know for sure that it works.

  • @talleezee I do not doubt that you feel better because that is what they say you will experience. There was a test done with a common rock. Test subjects were told that it will make them feel a certain way. A high percentage expressed that they experienced these feelings even though it was completely made up. This is an example of how the mind works. It is called the power of suggestion. These wristbands are no different.

  • @LuxMaji Omg, where can I buy this rock??

    jk :P

  • I got my p/b bracelet today and I tried the stretch test and I could not believe that it actually worked, seriously I didn't believe that it works until I tried it myself. Now I know that it's not a fake. I love it!

  • @talleezee SWEET! I take back all that I showed in the video. I tried it again and was able to make 5 full rotations. I creeped out everyone around me, but it was so cool. I will go for 6 tomorrow. :}

  • I don't care what other people says. I like my bracelet. If you don't like it don't buy it. Let's say it has physiological affects, it is till good for me. I have no back pain anymore. I will a lot better. It even improved my sex -life. How about the stuff they sell in GNC ? People pays billions of dollars for sugar pills. This is no different for me.

  • @MrDonerci75 That is perfectly fine. Some people keep a rabbits foot with them to bring good luck. Others read their horoscope an feel that it predicts their future. There are people that think that the stars have influence on their lives. Crystals have similar affects on individuals. My point is this, you can think whatever you like. If that makes you feel better, who is stopping you? But for some, they seek to not have their intelligence insulted. This group won't take things at face value.

  • ALL IN THE MIND

  • fakee

  • I was just at north county this weekend and this same exact FAGGOT trying to test you kept insisting on trying this gay thing on me and this is when i was just coming out of the apple store right behind the person video taping this with my brand new ipad and this FOOOL tips me over while i was carrying my ipad because i was resisting a lot because i wanted to show him i had good balance he takes me down with him a CRUSHES my new ipad. im fighting with that company right now to BUY ME A NEW ONE!

  • Great video!

  • @PoisonWazTheCure Thanks! Take care.

  • LuxMaji - Notice the angle that he is pushing you when doing the balance tests. When he wants you to fall over he pushes at an angle away from your body. When he wants you to have perfect balance he pushes towards the center of your body. This is really noticeable during the 3rd test. Physics and rotation.

  • this hologram bracelet thing is nothing, i purchased an immortality bracelet 5 years ago, and i haven't died yet!!!!.....coincidence? i think not

  • But what were their reactions!?

  • My comments about the kids dress is strictly based on how they would be viewed by the general mall going customer. If you are attempting to sell the idea of a product that requires scientific explanation to a mom pushing a stroller, would a kid with two lip rings be a convincing spokesperson? Places like this bring in the general public, a general look would be more appealing. That is sales 101. Maybe hoodlums was the wrong word, but I am sure that most adult mall goers see them that way.

  • It was sort of cool that you exposed these bracelets even though it was fairly obvious that they're placebos in the first place. But what i didn't like was your generalizations and disrespect towards those youth. You call them hoodlums just based on appearance? Bad show. To be honest how would you even know and secondly they can't be all that bad they choose to spend there free time in a mall trying to earn a buck. Pretty damn good i'd say.

  • I think this shows that there's more than just the placebo effect going on (Not implying that there's any actual benefit to the bracelets) .

My quick experience with this seemed to show that they make it seem like you have better balance by first pushing down and slightly outward, so you loose your balance, and the second time (with the band) push down and slightly inward, so that you can more easily adapt to the changing forces.

  • @TaleSlinger That is exactly how it works. Its not a placebo, its an outright fraud.

  • There have always been snake oil merchants.

  • I'm all for revealing bullsh*t like this and messing with people selling it, but this didn't really do much. I say next time have them standing on one leg wearing the bracelet and you knee them in the groin. This will have at least a few good effects, you will cause them physical pain, it will prove it´s BS and if we are really lucky they wont have any kids.

  • LOL, why did you have to buy one to prove your point?

  • Interesting..

  • Placebo-bands are much cheaper and no woo

  • You didn't have to go through all of that trouble. We already knew the product was shit.

  • So what did they say after you revealed your bracelet?

  • @neelshiv They did not say much. One kids was smirking and the other two were not thrilled with what was going on.

  • @LuxMaji The thing I wonder is... the demonstrator must know he's doing a scam test right? He couldn't possibly just be told by higher ups how to do it and that it's a legit test of it's ability... or are they really drinking the kool aid here? If no kool aid is involved, how do they live with themselves??

  • What the fuck is a gangster hat?

  • @albinolove It's a fucking baseball cap worn to the fucking side...or to the fucking side and up like the fucking kid in the fucking video.

  • This is very telling. Thanks!
