  • This aint an easy path, folks.

  • The interviewer is so boring.

Did he not prepare any of his questions?

  • good example is di fara pizza

  • @BeyondNeptune -- His "art" doesn't mean artsy-fartsy, dummy.

    Programmers create art too.

  • Seth, you inspired me to post about the beautiful SemperOper here in Dresden on my blog. Changing in the middle of its history, with the first female intendant and a new approach to their audience. First and most seeable sign is the new website and many more changes that can be only realized when people attend the audiences.

  • 4:25 awesome cup :) great video btw

  • 3D printers could kill the factory...

  • hi @mrbeedles re: Be ye slow to speak next time... rather pathetic attitude you have to be honest. We're all entitled to an opinion, even if you don't agree.

I feel Seth is telling folks 'what they want to hear' as opposed to how to get there. Are you a linchpin? Doubt it...

  • Interesting how Seth talks first about the market conditions that make his new book relevant. He truly understand market positioning - unless he did it by pure dumb luck, which is unlikely.

  • ivanwalsh, I believe your perspective is a bit warped and you are living alittle too high on the hog. The linchpin philosophy is more about being Great and Inspiring positive change than it is about carrying a title. Name the linchpins of the occupations you have listed and then look at the rest of the field. Their accomplishments have sparked a revolution. Be ye slow to speak next time.

  • This applies to those in semi-skilled professions and manufacturing but less so to skilled & trained professions.

Doctors, lawyers, architects all other such dont need to work to be linchpins they already are.

  • I don't agree.

All service delivery professionals have to compete with one another. Less so for doctors - they will always be in demand - but for revenue-based service delivery professionals (i.e. architects, lawyers etc) you always need to position yourself to be better than the next firm/competitor. If you don't you and the firm won't grow, in fact, you will probably end up withering.

  • @krosfyah Listen to WHAT HE'S saying! Don't get stuck on the "words"

  • Nice. Follow your heart follow your happiness.

  • I enjoyed this interview of Seth Godin on his new book, Linchpin. I actually came looking for video that I might include in a Squidoo page where I am preparing my review. This video will certainly be a part of that effort.

    Thank you,

    Shallie Bey -
