A man of undiluted respect for every Irishman wherever he my live. Ted was a doyen of liberal politics and a sincere man who earned our respect and admiration. The Kenedys the Irish royal family. Slan libh go lear (until we meet gain)
Please see past your hatred and realize that Sen. Kennedy has done so much for all Americans--Health care for children, a higher minimum wage for all, equal rights for women, Americans with disabilities act, protection for Medicare and Medicaid for the elderly, immigration reform with Senator McCain, funding for education and for smaller class sizes, funding for early childhood education, Serve America Act---a man who accomplished so much for so many....Thank you and God Bless you, Ted Kennedy
Throughout his Senate career, Senator Kennedy has championed the cause of quality health care for all Americans. Among the many landmark laws enacted under his leadership and sponsorship are the Protection and Advocacy for Mentally Ill Individuals Act of 1986, the Nutrition Labeling and Education Act of 1990, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990

Style over substance. A drunken, philandering, treasonous comforter to our enemies who undermined our troops in battle every chance he got......until Obama got elected. Hmmmmm. Burn in hell you fat bastard. Mary Jo Kopechne, Rest In Peace
You're very kind. It is unfortunate that not enough people know how much the gay community embraced his presidential campaign and how he in turn ensured that, for the first time, a major American political party platform included gay rights.

I think of his immortal words, "Some men look at things that are and ask why? I look at things that never were and ask, why don't you bring me the Beef Wellington medium well with a baked potato with extra sour cream, Oh, and get me another High Ball and keep them coming? And er ah, you are a good looking woman, have you ever seen the inside of the Capitol rotunda at one in the morning? I can get you in, I'm a Senator.
A great stink was lifted from land.

He saw in Columbia Point and Mound Bayou
a model for the nation and introduced an amendment to the Economic Opportunity Act that set
aside $51 million to get another 30 centers started around the country. Today, as a direct result of
Sen. Kennedys vision as a 34-year-old, first-term senator, 20 million low-income Americans
receive access to quality primary care at 1,200 community health centers across all 50 states and
U.S. territories.
