I loved this game when I first had the chance to play it.. but now there is no way I can seem to continue with it. After playing the other 2D tales games.. this just seems way to basic.

I still remembered how I got my first copy of ToD lol. A friend of mine bought it and used a gameshark. Beat the first unbeatable boss and beat the game in a few hours. He honestly thought that was the true ending, and sold me the game. xD

I am really happy that I bought this game were it was still sold and not like now. Its really a very good game which you should play because the story is just fantastic. But well its not sold anymore which is really bad but the remake which was just released in japan is like the original but a bit better

if you guys are talking about tales of eternia. I had the game for ps1. it's the only game i know that a summon that joins your team with out fighting to earn him. If you decide to fight him. That day i learn the word rape. Damn you time summon.......

As you said the 'only game...' Its a thing that varies from game to game I don't have a PS2 so I never played any PS2 Tales of game for more than 6 hours in a week so I barely know about other Tales of games but I know Tales of Phantasia like the palm of my hand.Luna and Aska are treated as single being in Tales of Symphonia and you have to fight them but in ToPh they are separete beings and they join you without resistence.

Loved this game. The opening had a style and way about it that isn't like any other mainstream anime out there. None of that stupid stoic "I'm a badass just because" way about the usual anime character.
