@gaspct If America hadn't taken part in WW1 in the first place the Treaty of Versailles would have never been signed, and instead and Allies and Central powers would have had to simply sign an armistice and go home. The only reason the Allies were able to win was because of the Americans intervening- otherwise they would have had to simply deal with not winning or losing for once. So the whole Hitler thing was partially a backfired U.S policy too.
Uhm ... i' m not so good in speacking english, but there is something i don't understand or maybe i hope to not having understood .. please , use more comma and explain me in a clearest way. However my words were ironic and I must always thanks Us Army , even if i am political-sided on the right, but so different from nazist or what become the fascism movement.
@Objectivist1994 Traslating english with google is really wrong ... i understood better in english... a program can't substitute a mind. I don't understand why you think that there i link beetween hitler and american foreign policy
@gaspct -_- For the last time (and this is the last time)- BECAUSE America intervened in World War One, the Allies were able to force the Treaty of Versailles on Germany and the Central Powers! It was partly because of this treaty that Hitler was able to easily rise to power. If America hadn't intervened in the first place, the Allies and Central powers would have had to had a more just peace, with neither side really winning or losing.
Somebody has GOT to get a hold of the campaign and get them to put this on TV, especially after that shit where everybody cheered Gingrich on his pro-war comments and booed Ron.
For those of y'all who are saying this doesn't happen OPEN YOUR EYES the US kills A LOT. Of people because of "certain circumstances" when all realilty it's just exactly what this is they just tell us differently. The US is basically a big bully and just like in school no one wants to be friends with the bully. Male Peace Not War. Ron Paul 2012
I think some Ron Paulists underestimate the average American's appetite for war. Just read any news forum or the comments on articles involving Iran, North Korea, or other "hostile" nations. A lot of ordinary Americans are surprising jingoist and think that we should throw our military muscle around as we see fit, consequences be damned.
We do not need bases everywhere, but open up exchange programs with these other militaries around the world and put value in being multilingual. Let us invite other militaries to send a few of their own to train with us, and for us to send our own to train with them. That is international military relations on the small unit level that would work greatly in everyone's benefit.
Look at Switzerland, they maintained their military might by having mercenaries from their own ranks as their greatest export. This boosted their military technology and might while maintaining neutrality. They equipped and trained them so that they may return alive to strengthen the country.
Marines love to fight too much, and not to mention the value in a fight to continue not only training for real, but for the experience. Yes, leave the other countries be, but let us go fuck up the congo or something on a continual basis. We still need that combat experience to continue in our armed forces, or we will ourselves crumble into worthlessness.
@MrThatguyaaron Try being an American and trapped in the middle of all this and being helpless to stop it. The American government needs to be stopped.
And here we are, the US doing the exact same thing in Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam, Libya, etc., etc., etc. Insanity and a waste of tax payer money to murder and steal from others because of greed.
I spent a year in Iraq and realized that Ron Paul is right.
It opened my eyes and I realized that voting party over principle is in itself throwing away your vote.
There is a reason that the establishment is trying so hard to discredit and marginalize Ron Paul and his supporters.
The establishment uses labels like "bigot, racist, homophobe, addict", rather than have a rational discussion about the issues. The big story is about who is "winning" rather than policy.
I am an italian and i want to say only this... telly it to all the italian people that have been saved from America against the Nazist.
