Shit. Why yall hatin on the companies. I like fords and chevys but fords got alot more torque. Dodge and nissan are out of the race, shitty engines, worse drivetrains.
I have owned a 71 bronco for 20 years to about june of this year 66k original miles it sat for about 7 years, poured gas in the carb it started right up. I will miss that thing. 93 ford escort since new still own it with no problems. It may smoke like crazy since i havent changed the oil in more than 3500 miles. LOL. I have bought a 04 f250 about 2 years ago for snow plowing. Damn that thing is reliable. I had to put a little bit in it. This years plowing beat the hell out of it!!! 50" of snow!

My Dad owned two chevys that were lemons. He currently has a Dodge Cummins that has 90,000 miles. It had a new engine installed at eighty three thousand miles due to it having a cracked piston as well as two clutches. I own a 99 F-350 7.3 Powerstroke which has just under 300,000 miles, two clutches, and the original motor. This is my Dad's last Dodge as he will get a Ford in a couple of years. We have owned trouble free Ford's in the past as well. This should settle which truck is the best.

@Superduty011 you can contact Taylor of the Rockes they purchased 3 f350 Dulles box trucks I think it was 05 or 06 we had to git red of them all before 150k mills. The power was incredible whine they ran. I got 1 of the 3 at around 80k I took good car of the truck. The year we had had a electric fan that if it went out you could only go 30 mills a hour it went out at lest 12 time's on me. The injector pump exploded 2 or 3 time's in the winter in the mountins.
@mantitsrus If it was 05 or 06 then they were 6.0s and any Ford guy will admit that they were a pile of shit......now it's starting to make sense............cause the only cruddy 7.3 would be a lemon and I'd doubt that a guy would get 3 lemons at once.......6.0s are easy to make good, but it is pricy.

@adfasdfasdfluy I've seen it done on Chevys and Fords alike nowadays. My current employer has an 06 Ram 2500 and a 2011 Ram 3500 both Cummins, both are also a P.O.S. We've put 350k easy through the older Rams. Old Chevs we never were lucky on, but I have heard and seen good on the new.
I'm pretty sure I saw a lot of ford vs ford and ford vs foreign cars in this video but not a lot of ford vs chevy or dodge...guess they couldn't handle the hemi, vortec, cummins, and duramax competition

@OCdodgerfan88 - Lucky? Nah! Its not un-common to see Ford Rangers with over 300,000 miles. The police intereceptors do the same. It all depends on wether or not the vehicle was taken care of. My buddy has a 1993 Crown Vic with 350,000 miles on it, he runs the piss out of that thing, never changes the oil, and it still runs strong and dosn't smoke a bit. If i'm not mistaken its a 1967 Mustang with a straight six that currently holds the American car record of over 500,000 miles.
@OCdodgerfan88 You're kidding right?. My 03 7.3 F250 has 190K, I've replaced the batteries, and the unit bearings and that's it (it's lifted 6" and rides on 35s). Even the auto tranny has never had a problem even though I tow a 7500lb load about 1300 miles every month, and average 25K a year. Dodge is, and always has been the worst truck made. The Cummins is a great motor, but Dodge makes inferior products.

Take it from a school bus driver; Google "T444e vs. 7.3ltr power stroke diesel" and see they are essentially the same motor, which is/ now was an "INTERNATIONAL" motor from navistar (Yeah, like the international truck company). I also used to work at my city utility garage with the C-4500's which were chev kodiak's.
Still put the F-450 against your c-4500 and my bet is on the ford with 24,400 lbs max load. My first car was a 91 ford tbird. best car yet, my current 01 lesabre is a close 2nd, but

@mrbehringer666 mines gog 202500 miles i cant say the check engine lights never came on but the few times it did it was never a big deal and usually something that wasnt its fault like one time an injector plugged thanks to bad gas, but it has never stranded me and i would without doubt trust it to take me to california to south carolina and then back home here to indiana

@OCdodgerfan88 - Lucky? Nah! Its not un-common to see Ford Rangers with over 300,000 miles. The police intereceptors do the same. It all depends on wether or not the vehicle was taken care of. My buddy has a 1993 Crown Vic with 350,000 miles on it, he runs the piss out of that thing, never changes the oil, and it still runs strong and dosn't smoke a bit. If i'm not mistaken its a 1967 Mustang with a straight six that currently holds the American car record of over 500,000 miles.

@OCdodgerfan88 You're kidding right?. My 03 7.3 F250 has 190K, I've replaced the batteries, and the unit bearings and that's it (it's lifted 6" and rides on 35s). Even the auto tranny has never had a problem even though I tow a 7500lb load about 1300 miles every month, and average 25K a year. Dodge is, and always has been the worst truck made. The Cummins is a great motor, but Dodge makes inferior products.

Take it from a school bus driver; Google "T444e vs. 7.3ltr power stroke diesel" and see they are essentially the same motor, which is/ now was an "INTERNATIONAL" motor from navistar (Yeah, like the international truck company). I also used to work at my city utility garage with the C-4500's which were chev kodiak's.
Still put the F-450 against your c-4500 and my bet is on the ford with 24,400 lbs max load. My first car was a 91 ford tbird. best car yet, my current 01 lesabre is a close 2nd, but

wont beat any of the gm's i've owned. Sorrry, just wont happen, and that's not just my opinion. I deep down have the passion for chevy so badly, but the facts are the facts, and a truck is not for racing, it's to work. period.
I should also mention that my town is chevy dominated and yet I wonder why so many are for sale if they are so loved? You can't easily find fords here, since they're in demand, have better resale, (look on the lot, many chevys, not too many fords). mech drives an f150
