i can hear the difference in the the way they do bad and awful in number 2 in this one the entire song is gradually replaced with a piddler version of the song in number one they just replace part of the music with crap sound effects

PaRappa's hat color has no effect on the stage's design. The pink hat symbolizes the difficulty in the game. Red is 1, Blue is 2, Pink is 3, and Yellow is 4. After you beat the game 4 times, it stays at difficulty 4.. Well for me it does. By the way, it's not my capture card.
