Unless i'm having a cheat meal, all I get is black beans, fajita vegetables, tons of salsa, guacamole and lettuce (the chicken has too much fat otherwise I'd do that too). There actually are some Chipotles that offer brown rice now too! Sadly, not all, but still

  • If you are eating half, it may be advisable to get tacos instead. And for those who have gluten allergies, Chipotle has soft corn tortillas instead of flour, but only for the tacos.

  • good vid, but the fat content an the sat fat an the cholesterol is crazy, unless you get a plain burito, or even better a bowl the tortilla is almost 300 cals with tons of sodium, a good mix is, rice,steak or whatever meat, tomato, an whatever sauce you like, which is a plane jane bowl, i like almost all the toppings which leaves me with over 1000 cals an 0ver 18g of sat fat, point being, if you eat a weak ass bowl or buritto youll be ok, if you like the toppings you better go elseware

  • my burrito that i usually get WITHOUT CHEESE gets 2370 mg of sodium....youve gotta be joking when you say this is great for a diet. i agree that its high in fiber, which most people dont EVER get in their diets, and also very high in protein, but that much sodium all at once is horrible...im eating 97% of my daily value. even 1 burrito twice a day, i wouldnt be able to eat anything else with salt in it....

  • A chipotle burrito is not 3-4 pounds. That's a ridiculous amount of food. A regular burrito from chipotle is probably no more than a 1 pound and a couple ounces.

    Stop Exaggerating and get your facts right.

  • dude I wish you could tell this to my friend because I try and convince him body types are dif. I eat very particularly and he doesnt get it.. he thinks everyone is the same... hes 6'4 and im 5'7.5 lol... HUGE difference in nutrition... he doesnt understand why I eat the way I do because he can eat like a bear and nothing will happen to him but If i eat like a bear ill look like a bear... nutrition is probably the most important thing in relation to body types/sizes

  • Hey Darin. I just wanted to say I love your vids, but I keep coming back to the same thought. All you fitness guys just want to tell us(overweight pep.) what we should do to get healthy & in shape. While I learn alot from that aspect I want so badly to see a fitness trainer document his daily life so I/We can see what you guy's eat & do on a daily basis.     Great series!  Could you feature more eating on the run? I run service calls all day. I cant always prep my meals and sometimes I have to grab and go. It would be good to see more choices from other food joints. Keep up the great work!

    Let me ask you sir, in relation to carb cycling and on your cardio days, do you do all non-starchy carbs or do you throw maybe just a few starchy carbs in on that day? I'm having trouble adjusting as I am typically more hungry on the cardio days since no starchy breads can't be digested...

    Hi Darin, 3 different types of meat?!! Don't they mind it, or do they charge extra? This comment caught my eye coz I used to wonder of its ok to ask for both types of beans along with chicken. I'm not a fan of steak, and chicken is my favorite meat. I know beans aren't as good a source of protein as meat or dairy, but beans consumed along with carbs such as rice or wheat make up for whatever they are missing, don't they.
