All this whining about the FAMAS. A weapon is only as effective as the person pulling the trigger. I use the gun almost religiously. But I also have a 11% accuracy. To me that is not OP. That only makes me half way decent when I use the gun. Now if I had something like a 30% and I used the FAMAS. That would be OP. The gun is designed for guys that need a little help. It's for leveling the playing field.

@Spitphire3 Well the fact is, different people are better with different weapons. But I think, you take the average person, give him a famas, and take another average, give him any other gun. Any other AR can start shooting first, and the famas can still win.

Really, there are just times I feel cheated by it. I think it's TTK is too quick. I don't often feel cheated by other guns. I do think there are bigger issues to fix though.

@MassNERDerer I don't know man. I see your point, but I just have a hard time understanding the logic in not using the weapon. It's more effective. If it helps your team win to use it, why would you not. To each his own though. I don't feel guilty using it. I was playing with some of the BFC guys last night and they bitched and moaned when I shot them, but looking at the leader board at the end many if not most of them were higher than me.

@Spitphire3 I don't use it because I think it's unfair. I don't like being killed by it, so I don't use. It's like a moral thing for me. BUT, if you don't mind getting killed by it, no reason not to use it. So I don't think all should stop.

The big thing is. People complain about many things in life, then do it themselves. That's the issue. Make sense? Sort of? lol

Another good game and video.

I have used the famas up to just over 500 kills (going for all the weapon mastery tags) but do agree that it's slightly unbalanced (the long reload doesn't make up for it's insane kill rate).

The wall you shot and didn't explode is because it's the part that's joined to the main bulk of the stairway. If you notice, in all buildings that are destroyed, only the stairs remain intact.

Yes, you notice these kinds of things after the video, but in game, trying to stay focused on the commentary, sometimes you miss the obvious.

Why not use the FAMAS? Fine, it has 1000rpm, making it the fastest killing AR, but it takes 50 years to reload. Also, its high rpm makes it harder to kill people at range and kill multiple enemies at once. I often use it simply because of personal preference: I don't really mind the reload time, and I definitely don't mind the 1000rpm

@TheEcasx I can't really say if it's balanced or not. I just know, there's only two weapons that make me mad when I'm killed by them. And it's because I feel like they didn't deserve the kill on me. And that's the famas and USAS frag round. So I don't use them. Maybe they are balanced and I've just had bad luck when I went up against them, idk...

@MassNERDerer Frag is OP at range, definetely. Even if you miss them, the splash damage is ALWAYS 30 damage, no matter what range. Therefore, even if at range someone miraculously manages to get every shot off target, even if it's slightly off target, you will die in 4 shots, which I believe is ridiculous, as an AR at the same range will kill in 6 shots. The splash damage should drop off to 20-15 damage at 50m+.

I would prefer you keep the live commentaries in one larger clip rather than breaking it up into sections. It makes it easier for us viewers(:

If you did a live commentary on a longer match(like conquest) I would still prefer one video but with all the highlights of the round.

@MassNERDerer not so much any wireless controller, just the wireless ines that can plug in and charge theough your xbox. and evmen then, only when its plugged i. but knowing you rock TBs it might be an issue with them , if you adjust any of the connections on them, even where wire meeets headset and hear a popping sound, they are more likely the culpriti have a similar problem with my X41s

@renski1792 FAMAS has more recoil than other weapons, extremely long reload-time and very bad iron sights. A very few people use it already. When they will nerf it, NONE will use it anymore.

@PCEliT1ST youre exaggerating. A lot of people still use it. I can win any face-to-face fights with the FAMAS. It's terribly damaging and is one of the fastest killing machines in the whole game. I dont find the recoil ANY problem. You're a noob for crying about it. Not all weapons are for spray firing.

Question: I unlocked the USAS with frag rounds and I literally started owning levels such as Metro and Grand Bazar, can end up getting 20-30 kills per round, while only dying about ten times. Usually I had a hard time keeping the KD over 1 on these levels, which makes me wonder, is the USAS with frag rounds unfair or overpowered? What do you think? Just feels like I am playing better than my actual skill level. I feel like it allows me to play with less finesse/skill, and more like Rambo.

@pointman127 yeah it's definitely a noob setup though its only effective in small maps. You dont have to hit enemies directly with these explosive rounds..A nice setup for noobs who dont know how to aim.

@pointman127 Its completely overpowered, you can get killed with it from far beyond what should be its range, I've only ever gone up against it once or twice but each time has made me rage (I rage quietly though). I've found it beats AR is a straight shooting match from a decent range and that shout not happen!

My opinion, yes the USAS frag rounds should be nerfed in future patches, meaning it's probably "overpowered" in my eyes. BUT, you are not the only one using them. Should you put yourself at a disadvantage because of it. I say go for it and own.

Suprisingly enough, not even noob tubes and rocket launchers bother me as they do in other games. Especially the missle launcher atrachmenr for assault rifles in BF2142. font even get me started on those. i used to compete professionally in BF214# and unfortunatly they were allowed in most tournamentsive since dropped out of the pro scene, lost too many friends there.....

Video segment: no preference. Famas: it will win most draw downs but IMO the devs tried to balance that by adding a reload time that is longer than the AEK. I noticed the majority of your deaths were due to the same guy sportin the Famas and like I said, the gun will win a draw down just because of the fire rate, try to make those guys blow their clip by ducking and weaving, get 'em on the reload. Have you unlocked the L86 yet? BEAST MODE. Channels: Machinima mainly.

@MrTehPuppy I use the FAMAS for stealthy situations, I run it with smoke and flank the enemy, because they dont know I'm there the clip size is less important. When I want pure firepower I go with an LMG, cant remember the name right now though (I think its the second B2K one) that thing is a beast!

@MassNERDerer Alright, I busted out the laptop to better respond to your note and before doing so popped over to the vid to see what folks were saying. The down before you know your being shot thing, as I'm sure you know, is just a "lag" (latency issue would be more precise) issue and unfortunately in the format we play on, must be taken with a grain of salt until the entire world has moved over to fiber optic cables. P.S. your mic seems to be having problems again, i'm getting popping sounds.

@MassNERDerer do you use a "plug and play" rechargeable controller? cause if you do, that might actually be the cause of the popping, unless you're using a different mic for the live comm's other than the xbox headset, in which case it would be irrelevant.
