  • This was the last great hit for the P fam. As low as the song got on the chart, I remains one of my favs. In fact, it stands the test of time more than some of their bigger hits and more popular album cuts that were more popular back in the day. Echo Valley was their best song that was not a hit single!

  • Fantastic

  • Great song! Loved to watch the Partridge Family when I was young and I was so in love with David Cassidy. :-p

  • I am so happy to hear the songs that were on the cassette of these guys...I lost it and lost a piece of my heart ...until now!!! Thanks so much for posting!!!!

  • The Partridges hit #39 in Billboard, 1-27-73. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!

  • what a beautiful and soulful song

  • This song was originally recorded by The Drifters, and then by Gene Pitney.

The Drifters' original is on a Before They Were Hits volume, I think volume 4

  • Hit #39 in Billboard. God bless!

  • Such a beautiful and mellow voice. Todays singers should really listen and learn from David Cassidy. I am tired of everyone sounding like Fuel or Coldplay on the soft rock stations.

  • My very single I ever bought......

Even beat my brother running to the record shop !!!(and he used to run for our school LOL)...

    Thanks xxx

  • great PF song :-)
