I was really amazed to see the variation of light among among every week. Although, there was hardly times when I could see the blue sky to assess the angle of sun, it was interesting to see variation in luminosity. Well done man.
Æ syns musikken va fabelaktig! Ser førr mæ timoteipiken og titisuru og greier. Va det noen som fikk med sæ linselusa? bokstavelig talt, lizzm. æ flire!
On a net site with facts about Norway, I've found that the exact dates for darkness period in Tromsø is from November 25 till January 16, North Cape from November 18 till January 24 and Svalbard/Longyearbyen from October 26 till February 16.
Why only 53 pics? That particular observatory takes pictures continuously 356 days a year. Further, the vid would've been far better with a long morph between several frames instead of the short "slide show" crossfade. Even further, the vid would've been better if the pic's were from midnight - thus showing the midnight sun troughout the summer in Tromsø.
Thanx for your comment! This time it was only 53 pics b'cause it takes time to compose such a movie, and I didn't have enough time when I made it. But I have plans...
About the midnight sun: Yes, I could have made a video with pics from f.ex. 00:00 AM, but then you would see a very long period with only darkness in beginning and end of video. And these pics are taken in south/south-east direction, which means you wouldn't see the midnight sun, only the light of it shining on landscape. But again: I have plans...
Yes Mafioso you're right! From about November 20 till January 20 sun never rises above horizon. And when it comes back then in January there is a socalled "Sun Day" with "Sun Party", when people are eating "Sun Cakes", a round cake rolled in sugar and filled with strawberry jam. And as longer to the north you travel, as longer will the darkness period be.
wat were u dere for :)

In December when the sun never rises i think it is not dark for about 4-5 hours every day because you are near of the Polar Circle.Am I right?

Tromso is at 69 degrees North, near of the Polar Circle.
