Weller believed in OCS when few others did, before they were found by the masses. He took Steve Craddock in as guitarist in his own band and guested on a few tracks on Mosely Schoales. Simon Fowler has also guested on some weller stuff i think and also pretty sure Damon Minchella stood in for one of Weller's regular bassists for a few gigs.

@jasoncsh35 Weller was never in OCS, he has played as like a guest musiician a few times etc but thats as far as it goes with them..Cradock and Minchella used to be in Wellers touring band for his solo stuff and Fowler was the support act playing his accoustic guitar. Now Cradock is the only one in Wellers band now,

@jooooty1 Weller was never in Ocean Colour Scene, but Steve, Oscar and Damon were all part of his backup band for a while (i believe there's footage from Glastonbury a couple years back where you can see them playing with him). Steve still does guitar work for Paul live, and Paul joined Steve on his debut solo album, but no, Weller was never a member of OCS.
