You have to follow the guidelines of the rules...Period. Like others have said, the people that entered only had a month to make their video..not 6. Aw, no need to apologize! You have 64 videos to watch, judge and take notes from. That is a lot of work! You deserve a whole month to do this! It took me hours to find my 5 favorite entries from each categories, and all I had to do was to watch them. So take your time and keep up your good work. love could be any emotion, since love can bring anger, joy, sorrow and fear.. I am happy with the emotion I have! but I don't think love is a fair one since they can basically do anything :(
We know that this challenge is going to be easier for some and harder for others but just as long as you make an awesome vid, i dont think you need to worry about it. :)
With love they're going to have to make a vid using couples and some of the vidders in that category haven't really done that. We do try to make it as fair as possible but we can't always promise that.
fizzlesbabygirrl: The reason you'd find love easier is probably also the reason you didn't get it XD Personally, as someone who got love (LAWL) I would feel much more comfortable with an emotion like sorrow. I think the judges did a good job finding our weaknesses, and I don't really think any one emotion is easier or harder than the others.
That said, gaah! I'm super excited for this challenge, can't wait to see what people come up with XD
I totally agree, the judges did make a good job finding our weaknesses. I'd much rather have love than sorrow! thing is I've had to use a certain show as a last resort coz I have no sorrow clips! it's difficult...haha!
I never said it was easier just unfair... they are all hard. It's just that love can be portrayed with every emotion. Love can be sorrow (Not being able to love who you choose), Fear (scared to love someone who is not like you) Anger (Angry at who you love) Joy (since love does imply that). It's like giving out confusion, cause confusion is also anger and hate right? I understand what they were doing and I appreciate what they did, I just don't agree with love. But I am also excited! ^.^

okay so im makign my video and its about sorrow obviously, i think i stuck to the theme but with the story im doing the sorrow is evident but it brings about a broken love like, explaining it sort of, so wud i not be doing it right?
Oh and, I was wondering, do we have to see the emotion all the time in the video or can it be more of the general theme of the vid, instead of a non-stop fear rollercoaster...

It can be about broken relationship just as long as the main emotion is anger. If love becomes the main emotion then we'll think that you didn't really do the challenge.
Depends on what you mean. If you mean make a funny vid, we think that that's not necessarily going to show the emotion joy. Or do you mean use a comedy movie?

Hurrah! Finally finished mine. :) It was SO hard, but i had a lot of fun! Vidding to Joy can really uplift your spirits. haha.

love could be any emotion, since love can bring anger, joy, sorrow and fear.. I am happy with the emotion I have! but I don't think love is a fair one since they can basically do anything :(

We know that this challenge is going to be easier for some and harder for others but just as long as you make an awesome vid, i dont think you need to worry about it. :)
With love they're going to have to make a vid using couples and some of the vidders in that category haven't really done that. We do try to make it as fair as possible but we can't always promise that.

fizzlesbabygirrl: The reason you'd find love easier is probably also the reason you didn't get it XD Personally, as someone who got love (LAWL) I would feel much more comfortable with an emotion like sorrow. I think the judges did a good job finding our weaknesses, and I don't really think any one emotion is easier or harder than the others.
That said, gaah! I'm super excited for this challenge, can't wait to see what people come up with XD

I totally agree, the judges did make a good job finding our weaknesses. I'd much rather have love than sorrow! thing is I've had to use a certain show as a last resort coz I have no sorrow clips! it's difficult...haha!

I never said it was easier just unfair... they are all hard. It's just that love can be portrayed with every emotion. Love can be sorrow (Not being able to love who you choose), Fear (scared to love someone who is not like you) Anger (Angry at who you love) Joy (since love does imply that). It's like giving out confusion, cause confusion is also anger and hate right? I understand what they were doing and I appreciate what they did, I just don't agree with love. But I am also excited! ^.^

So, my set emotion is sorrow. Can I interpret this as sadness and not just loss or death? Or would I be pushing that too much?

okay so im makign my video and its about sorrow obviously, i think i stuck to the theme but with the story im doing the sorrow is evident but it brings about a broken love like, explaining it sort of, so wud i not be doing it right?

ok, now that I calmed down a little I thought of a question: can the anger be about a broken relationship/friendship (for example) or would that be group 'love'? sorry if thats an obvious one.

It can be about broken relationship just as long as the main emotion is anger. If love becomes the main emotion then we'll think that you didn't really do the challenge.
