I've worked on a couple of shoots and DP's are notorious for acting like CB on set to get more time to make the shot look amazing. They have good intentions, but sometimes who gives a "FUCK" if the light hits the actor of actress' face a certain way. In the end it's about the performance, and Bale's as is on the line in that particular scene. We see Bale's face and his work. Some DP's don't know how to priorities and I seriously blame McG for not seeing it coming.
I don't know why but when I hear this it feels like Christian Bale is still 'acting' for some reason. His accent even switches between british and american a few times. It's obvious that Bale isn't really himself right now, probably cuz of frustration and being too absorbed in his character.

I love the Terminator movies, but I refuse to pay money to see this or any other CB movie after listening to this pathetic tirade. "I'm Sorry" doesn't come close to making up for this - this is absolutely inexcusable. I will go out of my way and rent it at the library. :^)

Yeah its extreme, but considering the circumstances and the pressure on him to make this work i can understand it. Acting isn't something people just "do", you have to be prepared and in the proper mindset. I'd be pissed off too if i was all prepped and ready to go then someone messed up a shot. I dont see the 'big deal' here, i dont record people yelling at cashiers in mcdonalds when they mess up an order lol. -To us they're actors. but to a lot of them, they're just doing their job.
