on 0:53 you can just roll then prone towards the wall then stand up and you'll be running already while the collapse scene plays.

i finished the game resently and wanted to play again but when i start a new game i dont have my wepons and camos i had after the ending wat i do

you have to load the game that you beat... itll just start over in and youll have all of the things you've unlocked... if you click start new game youre just gonna start a new game... reloading your beat game will allow you to keep your new weapons and camos

hot damn, my fastest run of act 1 is one hour and 24 minutes. I have beaten the game four times so I still I have a lot of improvement needed.

This is a speedrun of one of 5 acts. It's not that short and there is plenty of replay value.

No the game is not short, it's just the first part of the game, as far as i now it's separated in ACT's like in books (i think) and this is a SpeedRun, it's to complete the game in the best time you can do.

Hey adnan, i've to say you are the mgs man.

I've saw all your videos and they rock ^^.

I'm trying to copy this one.

You've already find out but on the frogs part you can do this things that i think that shaves some secs (haven't tested it with a clock or probably other people have dound out better moves to do this part)

- If you throw the first and second stunt g you will not have to stand up and shoot the frogs at the end.

- I think that if you wait until you see the 2 frogs running before throwing the third stunt you'll have to wait less longer (to ed and akiba) and you can wait crawling near the wooden to rail to wait they've passed (set the trap) and aboid getting hit.

- On 7:08 you can set another smoke trap to aboid some frogs

-On 8 you can go around the kitchen and shoot the frogs instead of aiming them from where you are standing on the video.

- On the hallway you are standing (regaining health), after akiba sets his trap you can set another sleep trap to avoid some frogs and backtracking.

- At the very end you can throw 2 stunt g to aboid that so many frogs enter the building (i shooted 4 and then meryl went to the elevator)

Like i saind i haven't tested with a clock and i might be wrong.

Keep up the good work men, i would LOVE to see you speedruning the entire game.

This game is as good as MGS3, its when they introduced the weaponry skills and reality of the weapons, and CQC, and ofcourse Camouflage. Once they introduced those elements. That was when MGS started to get good. And MGS4 was brilliant. I mean cmon, look at Halo, Halo 2 was amazin so was the first. But Halo 3 was crap, very crap. this isnt like that.

where do you want me to start? plot holes, poor story, over the top cutscenes, large installs at each act, poor ai, horrible dialogue, lazy game mechanics with 100 guns that take same damage, crap bosses, short game, too many cutscenes, ruined mgs1,2 and 3 with its horrible story, drebins shop that ruins the fun in ammo

I like to watch other people's runs and see their strategies in certain areas which helps me get quicker times.
