  • excellent! even more so given how wobbly that pole was!

  • that pole looks a little wobbly 2 me. i wouldnt trust it even if my weight could withhold it lol

  • wow you are great .. i would love to do that! I couldnt take my eyes off, very good!

    kels x

  • Oh, my God, I can't believe how smooth her moves and transitions are. Awesome, Really.

She's gotten even stronger and better since her swan lake video.

She is so smooth, and sensual, wonderful!!

    Very inspiring, great to watch.

    Good for her. Go KT!!!

  • that was a very frightening pole...iam glad nothing happened to you KT, that wobbling, omg, i knew that couldn't be the new x-pole stage! just wanna thank you for helping me for one month i took ur online lessons and it taught me so much! ur inspirational, too bad i live way over in the usa, or i'd take lessons right from ya. xoxo

  • Another question, sorry I curious. If a pole only has a fixed base does the performer has to use more skill and enegry to counter balance the lean or the swaying of the pole near the top?

  • hello

this was a home made stage that the circus built, it was not made properly and quie dangerous, so dont take that as a guide, look at the x-stage we have a video of. yes there is more movement but you get used to it with in mins. i dont think it is any harder, but just take a bit of getting used to. I dont think any more skill or energe is required.

  • Is it harder to perform on a pole that as a fixed based only? As it appears in this video and many others that the pole leans and sways the higher the performer goes up the pole.

  • This was a mainstream event in the UK. Yet this week in U.S. TIME (feb 2008), three new fitness crazes (including weighted hula hoops!) are covered and pole dancing is ignored. What accounts for pole popularity in the UK and Commonwealth countries while it is ignored here in the US? (Sheila Kelley is the exception but she is a famous celebrity)

  • It just that we are about a year ahead of the rest of the world in pole dancing. Look at the janet jackson boob gate, the reaction was totaly blown out of proportion. i think that in a year or two time it will be different in the USA, well i hope so anyway. The more schools that open the more accepted it will become!

  • Excelente muito bom

  • girl! that pole was SCARY!

I love how classy your routine was. Pole dancing is inherently sexy, you kept it sexy strong and sweet! Is the X-Pole out yet???

  • Thanks!

it should be out march/april time (i hope)

  • I want to start pole dancing and want a pole so badly going to get one this week after one lesson is it easy to learn a few moves?

  • you look great!!

  • Oh my gosh KT! It looks like it's going to slingshot you off when you spin! Could be the beginnings of a new signature move... "KT"s Slingshot"! You're very brave girl, and your routine rocks ;)

  • OMG KT you are so brave that pole looked very scary. Must have been amazing all those people watching you.

Cant wait for the new freestanding pole.

  • That was fantastic KT! xx

  • wow thats looks awesome, you truely are an inspiration. Keep up the great work:)

  • Awesome! Even with the wobbly pole, you kept it impressive!

  • katie did you get your freestanding pole made? we need to get some for our studio for shows etc but not sure what to do or where to get them!

  • The circus people made this one, it wasnt very stable at all. X-Pole will be launching their new stage around christmas, its is unbelivable so if you can i would hold off untill then.

  • sweet, yeah the pole looks a little flexible haha. We'll wait it out!

  • it's very very magnific!! wow! these variation of handsrping and strait edge are amazed!! and the croskew at one hands are wonderful!! you are a very great miss of pole dance of the world!!!!

  • beautiful job as always, KT!!! Looked like you were having a blast :o) thanks for all of the inspiration and for all you do for the advancement of pole dancing!!
