@Mitzyclick nope I saw the 5th Ave Version this Summer, they added this plot and Aladdin was not a jerk, and jasmine was NOT spoiled. the song that she sang, "Call me a princess" was in place of the scene where she has Rajah bite the prince's butt and rip his pants. It was just her pretending to be bratty so the princes wouldn't ask her to marry them. And I'm not sure where you got "Aladdin is a jerk" from...?

This song is truly epic. Out of all the quartets sung by Aladdin and his friends this was definitely the best one. I would have truly loved it if this song was officially animated or used in the movie.

I have it from the original "Aladdin: Magic Behind the Music,"

I think Aladdin was supposed to have 3 buddies that would have been introduced in "Babkak, Omar, Aladdin, Kassim."

So this is Aladdin trying to get his buddies take down Jafar.

@NeoSlith Yeah your right. In the Original Script Aladdin was supposed to be a part of a gang of friends... It was eventually cut and the idea lost.

It is interesting how much movies can change from what they originally were. Though I wonder how that would have worked if they kept it......

I guess we'll never know

@ChampionElCid This song is in the new stage musical, as are his friends (babkak, omar, kassim.) It works AMAZINGLY and this is my favorite song in the entire show. his friends are hilarious :)

This song was made very early in the development of the movie. The plot probably changed alot.

This song is so awesome and catchy...I guess it got cut out because something got cut that would've had this song in it? because I can't figure out when exactly in the movie it would be. But I like this song a lot!

Well, for a start, Bakbak, Omar and Kassim were written out. Also apparently they thought that two songs for the genie were enough.

Good thing the song was cut, as it would have made the movie too complex for children to follow. But the song IS very catchy.
