@aleks6989. Yeah cause I thought it looks cool also it lets me keep both hands on the wheel when I'm lighting it up...I recently moved that switch setup to in the ash tray compartment where its not seen...unfortunaly I put another switch in its place that controls the electric waterpump after a wicked rebuild I just completed...hoping for 400 whp out of that bitch.realisticly its will probably be like 380 but I'm hoping for more.
@loku1125 whatever floats your boat. I just like the stock look for now as I like to show this car but if it ever becomes a track car things will change dramaticly.
I love the setup man. Clean and stealthy. I have a '94 Z28 and I'm pretty glad I can follow your steps exactly if I decide to try a line lock out down the road lol. However, if you don't mind me asking, why not have that toggle/power switch actually be the line lock engage switch? So instead of tapping in and running a wire to the horn, just push brake, engage switch, give it gas, switch off & take off? Less wiring, same outcome. Not knocking your install at all, just a suggestion man. A+ work!
@mixtape86 it can be hard to coordinate turning a switch off and launching the car, so the horn button is something you just let go of and drive down the track! Simple=effective.
@v6firebirdv6 it locks both front tires ...its one line because that one line is to the front brakes side of the ABS block there are 2 brake lines that exit the ABS block for each front wheel. does that make sense to you ? if you have more questions let me know.
Fucking genious using relay's and switches. i had to think how you did the horn but then i remembered that some relay have a 87 and 87A . I like it you did a damn good job at it
@2001camarolover i like it. this car is the m6 and i have no issues ..i havent been using it alot tho the tires are new this year so id like to get a season oytta them before i need to drop another 600 on rears.
slick idea to use the horn. nice choice.
