I don't get it..... other than personal memories that someone might have about this place, what's so special about it? Where is the amazing architecture? Where is evidence of its history and culture? Where is the art? Where are the incredible gardens? The place is filthy, underdeveloped and an architectural nightmare. It's also clear that it is struggling economically.
So other than it's roots in ancient Ethopia, what so amazing?

I used to go DM when i was Dejen .what i saw in this vidio is really big change....but we still need to do more staff in Gojam so the owner of this video pls contact me i have something to tell u k!!! love and peace!!
wawu i left from my home town almost 7 years ago .what a wonderful change is it! i have to build g+2 in markose soon .yemarkos lij hulu who live in diaspora has to build atlist one vila back home.kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
I was fortunate enough to see my home town DM after an absence of about 10 years. I felt pretty good about some construction developments here and there in the town, though the purpose of a majority of them is for a hotel industry. There is one very important aspect that made me itch though. There is not a single major manufacturing industry or major agricultural investment in the area. Not one. This fact makes me doubt about the sustainability of this "change/development" of DM.
really marcos is changing. I myself was there like three years ago, but there are still some changes now. I was born and raised there and whe I see some places even our building material(Tizazu Liyew shop) shop it just made me homeseek.I can't wait untill I go back there.
how nice I myself have never been to gojjam only once when I was a child to metekel but my family relocated to Gojjam in the reign of the early time of menelik2 but my fathers and mothers side is from there and im goin this year hope its chaged
