  • It's better to fight them over there than fight them over here.

Many only remember 9/11, but understand that far more attacks have been thwarted since then only by virtue of the fact that America has stayed engaged with those bastards. Multi-dimensional world-wide attacks are what have been undertaken against the western world. I'm afraid that this kind of mega-hatred of the West is way over the heads of simple minded pacifists trapped in the delusion that we are in another Vietnam.

  • cavuto is a sad little cockroach.

  • In a July 31, 2007 interview with Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto, Rep. Boehner disclosed an aspect of a Federal Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court's decision regarding warrantless wiretapping.

By telling a reporter that a FISA court has restricted the U.S. intelligence community's surveillance of suspected terrorists overseas, Rep. Boehner transmitted information relating to the national defense in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 793(d).

Is Melanoma going to accuse him of treason?

  • What is with libertards - few object to fighting terrorists in Afghanistan. Some actually want to send American troops to Darfur, in Sudan, to fight Islamofascist mass murderers there. It's just Iraqis they don't want to help, and for purely political reasons. Iraq is not Vietnam. Leftwards don't seem to mind if it becomes Cambodia, as long as they can use every death as political capital in their perpetual campaign season.

  • Some of us are still a bit upset about what happenned on 9/11 skye to be interested in freaking nation building. As you say, yes we are interested in going after terrorists. Your way is like the redcoats during the revolutionary war marching in order, facing an opponant that bobs and weaves and hides behind trees. Stuborn ignorance is not a strategy.

  • Bush was freaking genius! Oil is NOT our problem, islamofascists are - pay attention or you will get stomped! Iraq, Afghanistan are no longer incubators for a growing terrorist network. Lybia is no longer playing along either. You make you strike at the weakest link - and watch them fall. You probably suck at strategy games, don't you?

  • No, strategy games are my strength. Oil is not our problem? I don't need to respond to that - your statement speaks for itself - you are clueless. If you want to strike the weakest link - it might help that the link was connected. Yeah, Lybia is your new best friend - just like Osama was when we trained him, and Saddam was while he gassed Iran and we didn't care.

  • Apparently you are an unrivaled expert on cluelessness - was an advanced degree required to reach your height of ignorance?

Before American troops set foot in Iraq, most on the Left cared about the plight of the Iraqi people about as much as I care about the plight of an ant colony. We already knew from twelve years of diplomacy that more talking was not the answer.

  • If you were scared of Iraq you are one hell of a pussy!!! The plight of the Iraqi people should be left to....? Iraq -just like I don't believe the plight of the American people should be left to another country. Reagan sold Iran arms, had our soldiers arm in arm with Saddam as he gassed and fought Iran and supported Osama bin Laden. It's time we mind our own business.

  • First there was not 12 years of diplomacy there was 12 years of sanctions brought on by Bush Sr that led to a million Iraqi deaths. Second Bush Sr gave Saddam the wepons to gas his own people with. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIT. Kerry was right, the best is no permanent bases.

  • Actually the Talaban has returned to Afghanistan, and Afghanistan is now the worlds largest producer of Opium for drugs in the world, under CIA controll. And as far as strategys go, you suck at them because "stay the course" means do the same stupid thing over again and expecting a diffrent result. That would be the text book definition of insanity.

  • If debate were not allowed this country would still be at war in vietnam. These people are totally ridiculous.

  • Saying the War on Terror is all about OBL is like saying we should have fought the Japanese Naval Air Force after Pearl Harbor. Not the Japanese Navy, not the Japanese Army, not the Empire of Japan -- just the Naval Air Force.

  • No, the Japanese government was behind the attack on PH. Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11 and Iraq is not the central front on the war on terror. The terrorists are not as stupid as you think. Would you go fight the greatest military power in the world? Hardly.

  • Not Italy or Germany, either. Yet, our government understood this was bigger fight than just Naval Japanese Pilots. Would I confront a military power? No, I'd decentralize my forces, use several countries as training ground and attack soft targets - like civilians..oh, wait..that's al-queda's strategy. Looks like Bush was right..AGAIN.

  • Bush was hardly right. You made my point however. Iraq is hardly the center of the war on terrorism, but just another arab country that disapproves of the way we live. Without invading the entire middle east we are just jacking off at our sons and daughters expense. The only way to win anything is to eliminate their power - cut our oil consumption and find alternative fuel. Iraq will stab us in the back - watch.

  • When a President takes his eye off of those responsible for 9/11, trumps up intelligence about reasons we're invading Iraq, outs CIA agents for political reasons, tortures prisoners, abducts suspects and hold them in secret prisons without representation and disregard survaillance laws Maureen, how does that make us look. If we push back at those responsible - in the world's eye - we are a free nation.

Respect and prayers from my family to yours.

  • [Redacted name] are only interested in your career and provide no support to your staff—no msn support and you don't care. I cannot support a msn that leads to corruption, human right abuses and liars. I didn't volunteer to support corrupt, money grubbing contractors (or)commanders only interested in themselves. I came to serve honorably and feel dishonored.(snipped) I cannot live this way. COL Ted Westhusing suicide note Life needs trust. Trust is no more for me here in Iraq.

  • MAF is about self-promotion and money to finance far-right extremists like her co-founder Howard Kaloogian. They proved their morals by posting pics of a trip to Iraq which they had used your donations to pay for. The pictures turned out to be from Turkey. They'd gone vacationing!

  • Far right? No. You are using lame stream media and communist party line propaganda to suggest that the view of Move America Forward is "Far Right Wing Extremists". Actually it is your view that is the minority view; If it were the majority view then the politicians would not actually run away from all attempts to actually stop the war funding. You are the self deluded brain dead parrot. Enjoy your nirvana.

  • If MAF wasn't so far right, then why won't any serious mainstream politico mention their patriotism by name? Howard Kaloogian is the man who co-founded the venture in an effort to ride the far-right glory days to office, but he was too much even back then. Now they make due with Turkish vacations selling arm-bands to fools for a few hundred a pop.

  • Then you 'don't know what is' sadly.

We did the right thing when we invading Afganistan. We investigated 911, figured out who caused it, went in and started the process of removing them as an issue. Then your w took his eye off the ball. He decided that , since we were in the region, we may just as well go shoot up another country that hadn't attacked us. This imperialistic approach turned world opinion strongly against us and here we are - deep in a civil war we caused.

  • Have you ever tried communication? Like reading what other people post perhaps? See we DON'T OPPOSE THE PEOPLE IN UNIFORM. We do oppose a pointless, unjust war that we got into because of the lies of a cokehead chimp like w.

Support the troops - bring them home.

  • by "fight this war to the finish" does she mean wipeing out the entire population of iraq? cuz the sunnis and shiites arent going to stop fighting. theyv been fighting for 1,100 years longer then america has had a flag.

  • "it is always a simple matter to drag the people along. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."

    -- Herman Goering

  • You want us to feel honor blindly. Without question. Like I said, the soldiers out there whats up. They are just doing it, thats all there is to it. You cant support someone you disshonor everyday. Bring honor back to the USA! Bring our troops home NOW!

  • The soldiers need to know who is on their side! If it hurts them still to hear that the war was about nothing, then maybe its because they still believe that this war is about something. Most Soldiers know that this war was a fraud!

  • No, the only fraud is those who continuously try to undermine the war on terrorism but then disengenuously say they "support the troops."

  • Jefferson was smarter than you;

"The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all. I like a little rebellion now and then."

We don't oppose the troops - we want them out of harms way.
