funny, i just watched their duet of 1983 Telethon and they looked really younger on that one. Here they look more adult!

Beautiful duet. (Side note - from 1966-86 WNEW-TV was home to the MDA Telethon. In 1987 it moved to WWOR.)

The 2nd Annual Children's Miracle Network Telethon was aired after memorial day weekend on WNEW-TV (now WNYW) Channel 5 New York.

Yes they went on a couple of dates. If you look up the 1987 interview with Marie and her ex-husband Brian, they talk a little about Marie and John dating.
