I can't even describe how utterly stupid this is. You should feel bad for taking time out of your day to make this. But I guess that's the world we live in, where any fucking retard and his asshole friends make shitty videos and put them on YouTube. damn PEEON
man if this was reversed and david was telling Darlen he didnt want her to go she would be pissed. David usually loses when it comes to this kinda stuff its a once in a lifetime oppertunity.
the writer for Roseanne was the same writer for The Brady Bunch? Was that guy serious? It seems so...WRONG. A show that was the epitome of cotton-candy fluff the complete opposite of harsh, groundbreaking reality like Roseanne, having the same writer? Either this guy is a genius, got smashed in the head with a brick of realism in the last 20 years, or is simply lying - I kinda hope it's the latter.
@JokersSerious No. Sherwood Schwartz, the title character of the episode, was the writer of "Gilligan's Island" and "The Brady Bunch". They were paying homage to him in this episode. He had no affiliation with "Roseanne" besides this episode.
I can't believe David ended up not going to Europe. If I was Darlene, I would be acting a little cautiously. She just got back together with David, after breaking up because she ultimately chose another guy over David whom she thought it was okay to date the same time as David. I just can't believe she really prevented him from going.
@cheesecakehead413 Actually this was the last episode of the 7th season finale before summer came. So after what Roseanne said to Darlene (then she had to take her own advice about Dan), we assume that Darlene and David worked it out and he did go. Darlene is something like Roseanne, if she doesn't get her way, all hell breaks loose. But the difference is, Roseanne can at times still be fair too. She looked at as David still being young, you have a chance take it.
They're the original actors from Gilligan's Island. "Roseanne" is Tina Louise who played Ginger on the show. In the dream sequence Roseanne played her part so here she is playing Roseanne. Same with the other actors. Bob Denver played Gilligan and here he's playing "Jackie." Russell Johnson was the Professor and here he is playing "Mark." And Dawn Wells who played Mary Anne is here as "Darlene."
Alan Hale, Jr., Jim Backus, and Natalie Schafer who played The Skipper and Mr. and Mrs. Howell had died by this point so that's why they weren't shown doing Dan, Leon, and Beverly.
Why is DAvid even with Darlene? When she wanted to go away to Chicago to that art school it was "OKAY" even though DAvid didn't want her to go and now he has the opportunity to go to Europe to make something of himself she doesn't want him to go David should jus dump this bitch cuz its obvious that Darlene knows nothing about relationships cuz it takes more than love to keep it together...
well Chicago is not as far as Europe, it's the fact that it's his dream to do it, Thats the real problem. also it DOES take mostly love to keep a realtionship going. if there's no more love you turn out like Jackie & Fred HAHAHA
this was worth seeing--good to see tina with the rest of the cast--roseanne did this for a tribute to sherwood and we thank her--

I love how david walks in at the end, looks around, and walks back out.

I agree, and it's only for a month. It's not as if he's going to school there or live there. Just one friggin' month.
