@spinalcrackerbox I'm sure Harrison would have loved it, although, he was more into classical Indian music. This is Rajasthani folk music, which came from farming communities in the deserts - hence the cowbells and strange instruments. I think that's why they gell so well with Mumford and sons and Laura Marling, as folk music is pared down and organic.

@HerrWiegerinck It is sung in one of the local dialects of Rajasthan (a distant cousin of Hindi). I cannot understand most of it a. because it is a remote dialect and b. it is quite fast. I can translate some bits of it...specially towards the end of the video:
