Why do we need this bill again, Harry Reid? Is there some CRISIS among our police and fire departments where they're being systematically treated like shit on a daily basis? What is the rationale for this stupid bill??? This just seems so random! I mean, the fucking thing hasn't even gotten ANY cosponsors since Harry Reid introduced it! And it's gotten nowhere since April of this year.

Plus, this goes a little too far in terms of federalism. Let states decide this on their own.

So the national union will be able to call strikes for police and firefighters all around the country. What power! Anybody who voted in favor of this bill should be voted out.
