@gor This is normal for a big turbo vehicles. The timer doesn't start until he launches, so he could sit there for 3 hours and still get the same Elapsed Time. (ET) The only reason for the Launch at Green is when racing an opponent, and if you notice, Ryan Woon for example spools up on the first stage light and nudges forward till he hits the second stage, then the tree drops and he's ready to Go on Green. Unless he wants a close race he will let a 12 sec car go, wait 4 seconds and catch him.
