Yep, that would be the case, you are correct and I stand corrected. Sorry. However, the "Old 100th" originally used a text based on Psalm 138 not Psalm 100. "All People That On Earth Do Dwell" came later and Kethe used this tune in 1561 for his text based on Psalm 100. But, the "Old 100th" is still a tune, not a text. History to me has no meaning if not intact. With so many "making up" history on the web (as well as sermons) I did not give you fair consideration. Sorry I jumped to gun.

No, No, No! This is not Psalm 100. Read the Bible. Please, actually open it and read it. This is not Psalm 100. This is the Old 100th from the Genevan Psalter from 1551. That means the 100th tune found in the "Genevan" Psalter. Not the Psalter from the Bible called the Psalms. How can you sing about Father, SON and Holy Ghost from an Old Testament Text? The Doxology text was by Thomas Ken 1637-1711 a Bishop in England. Thousands of years after the Psalms were written in the Bible.

If you read the note attached the video, you would have noticed that I didn't say it was quoting Psalm 100, but taken from Psalm 100. In other words, Psalm 100 was the Psalm which inspired the basis of the song "Old 100th" written as you commented.

@johnmreimer you are right. if you look at the psalm 23 and the lyrics for it, it has been taken from it. and besides the different bibles have a different version of the same thing.
