Another fantastic signing for West Ham. Although I am a bit concerned. While Carew is a great player, I think he is too similar to Carlton Cole. Both of them are good at winning the ball, but where do they go from there? None of them are especially good at putting the ball in the net. They need other players to do that, and there aren't too many West Ham players to do that.

If Carew leaves, he will be hugely missed. Hes a great player, and a great man. To me, he is a Villa legend. Some people may disagree with that, however im sure that not one of them will dispute hes been terrific for us over the years. I am still hoping Houllier gives him a new contract at the end of the season, as he deserves one for what hes done for us. He could form a deadly partnership with Bent too, and im a bit bemused to why Houllier hasnt given that a chance. Anyways, all the best John!

Great video, really liked this. As a big fan of this guy, I'm sad to see him leave us on loan, and it also looks like it will be the end too, with his contract ending in the summer. It's a shame to see his time with us end like it has this season. Rather then dwell on it, I'm gonna look back on the good times which this video highlights! Thanks Big John, and UTV!
