Our system works when everyone respects some unwritten rules, but Harper overpassed some. For example, the Lords, who now form a conservative majority, and who aren't elected, took down a projet the House of Commons had accepted, which is undemocratic. Even if it's permitted by the Constitution, it isn't accepted since a long time, so it's not legitimite.
