shamshir20 the aim from making music is sperading the name of god and the prophed (pbuh). you seem very coservative. you cannot tell or teach anything to the others.you can live islam perfec but cannot force anyone .dont start vith hard rules.....

  • duff in islam is completey allowed

    its stated in many hadiths

duff is the only halal instrument

nd dis is a butiful nasheed

  • Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) entered (my house) when I had two little girls singing the songs of Bu`ath and beating on a duff; so he lay down on the bed and turned his face away. Then Abu Bakr came in and scolded me saying, 'The flutes of Shaytan (the Devil) played in the presence of Allah's Messenger?' So Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) turned toward him and said, Leave them alone, O Abu Bakr! Every people have an Eid, and this is our Eid."

  • Mashallah, its been a long time since I heard this!

  • writing a huge monologue could be considered spam....If you want people to take you seriously condense your message or at least remove any unnecessary details.

  • Sayyiduna Abd Allah ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) said: Verily Allah has forbidden alcohol, gambling, drum and guitar, and every intoxicant is haram. (Musnad Ahmad & Sunan Abu Dawud)

  • Sayyiduna Ali ibn Talib (Allah be pleased with him) reports that the blessed Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) said: When my Ummah begin doing fifteen things, they will be inflicted with tribulations, and (from those 15 things He said): When female singers and musical instruments become common. (Sunan Tirmidhi)

  • @shamshir20 Where are the female singers that you are complaining about? I think I am not blind and I for sure am not seeing any women singing...

  • Comment removed

  • @hasaqib2010 asalamualiakum brother. the female part cmes with the hadith about music. if u accept it, alhamdulillah n if u dnt then may Allah guide us all. ameen. t.c salaamz

  • Sayyiduna Abu Malik al-Ash'ari (Allah be pleased with him) reports that he heard the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) say: There will appear people in my Ummah, who will hold adultery, silk, alcohol and musical instruments to be lawful. (Sahih al-Bukhari)

  • ıs there any one to tell what does this song mean (exept salawat). the best voice and song I ve ever heard.I feel my prophet near me ....

  • Allah Most High says whilst describing the attributes of the servants of the Most Compassionate (ibad al-Rahman):

Those who witness no falsehood, and if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable avoidance. (Surah al-Furqan, V. 72)

Imam Abu Bakr al-Jassas relates from Sayyiduna Imam Abu Hanifah (Allah be pleased with him) that the meaning of falsehood (zur) is music & song. (Ahkam al-Qur?an, 3/428)

  • Allah Most High said to Shaytan:

Lead to destruction those whom you can among them with your (seductive) voice. (Surah al-Isra, V.64)

One of the great exegete, Mujahid (Allah have mercy on him) interpreted the word voice (sawt) by music, singing, dancing and idle things. (Ruh al-Ma?ani, 15/111)

  • A companion of Rasoolullah is swearing by Allah that this is the meaning of the verse. There cannot be any other possibilities.

    2. Musical instruments are Haraam (Baihaqi)

    3. Music grows hypocrisy in the hearts just as water grows agricultural products. (Abu Dawud) There are many evidences from the Qur'an and Sunnah upon the fact that Music is Haraam.

  • did u understand the defenition of music? did u even bother reading what i wrote?

    forget it....

  • Who has given you the right to judge on others, are you perfect? Well then stop looking at what others are doing and focus on your own deeds. It's very easy to select a few sunnats like keeping a beard, and forgetting all other things about tolerance and love.

I'm sorry but Islam is not tyrany like what your mufti tells you!

  • Many Walis in India such as Hazrat Aamir Khusro and Hazrat Moinuddin Chishti RA, invented and used qawwali to draw people to islam.

And those were men of Allah who brought millions of people to islam through the love they had for the people.

Don't forget your history... If it weren't for these lovely men of Allah you and me would probably be kafirs.

So think what you like... I will not debate this matter with you.

Beautiful nasheed by the way. Ya Nabi Salamualeika!

  • @MrSpiky47 I agree! Good rebuttal! Many have forgotten the past works and endurance of big scholars and saints such as Khwaja Ghareeb Nawaz (RA) who brought Islam to India. It is because of true ones like these that many of us even know about the Prophet (S). It is truly amazing how we can see trace the origins of Islam all the way back to the Sahaba (May Allah be pleased with them) and the Prophet (S).

  • A heard a hadith told about Prophet Muhammad had a conversation with Iblis/Satan. Music that extolling Allah, Praising Allah and confers blessing upon the Prophet will debilitate, weaken the Satan. The Satan and his dominion will flee in terror because of it. Allahu-Akbar.. Allahul-Hafiz

  • Music is forbidden in Islam in any quantity. It is forbidden to listen to nasheeds which includes music. quote by Mufti Saifur Rahman Sahib

    London, UK

  • do you ever look back on islam history?

there are a lot of trustees (wali@sufi) used poem and some combination of instruments (which create sound) to make such beautiful recitation....

if some mufti said music is HARAM yes! they r right but see their purpose first, what that music going to be. if it not for soul healing and did not fill with lyrics to call people towards the right path (respect our God and Prophet) It definitely HARAM!! that's what my Ustaz said to me.

  • is this turkish? cuz these ppl are asian...

  • I think this is Malaysian.

  • Malaysian dude....

  • oh thanks!

  • türkey salam

  • satu lagi nasyid yang dimuatkan dalam VCD haji 2003~2006 TM fouzy travel & tours.....bekas jemaah 1423h/2003m>>masyaalllah

  • marshallah beautiful voices but its a shame dat theres always music in evry nasheed of theres apart frm 1 or 2. music is haram.

  • not haram

  • well....u cant generalise. wht does music mean?

according to the merriam webster dictionary, music means : the science or art of ordering tones or sounds in succession, in combination, and in temporal relationships to produce a composition having unity and continuity

so tht means, the recitation of the holy quran is also music, becuase its a combination of sounds. pop songs is also music. both of these come under music.

  • but what separates pop songs and the recitation of the holy quran is the usage.

recitation = good usage of music (allowed in islam)

pop music = bad usage of music (not allowed in islam)

that is the overview of music in islam. i can go into detail brother, if u want me to, this is my personaly research.

  • 1. And of mankind is he who pays for mere pastime of discourse, that he may mislead from Allah's way without knowledge, and makes it the butt of mockery. For such there is a shameful doom. (Luqman verse 6)

Imaam Ibn Kathir mentions a narration under this verse. Abu Sahbaa al-Bakri says that he once heard Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud being asked regarding this verse. He said: "mere pastime of discourse is Music, I swear by Allah who has no partner". He repeated this three times.
