  • I respect David Lifton and his Best Evidence is one of the two or three most important books on the case, but if he paid $5,000 for the Z-film in 1989 he got ripped off. Especially considering that the weasel Groden never had legal rights to the film, which I'm sure David knew.

I myself bought a collection of JFK films, on a VHS tape, on or about 1988-89 for $100.

Contrary o David's claim here, VHS players were common and cheap in the mid-80's. I bought mine around 1988 for about $250.

  • @jrg8008 And yes, that collection I bought for $100 included the Z-film. I bought it off a guy in Canada who had numerous advertisements in various publications.

My point here is that $5,000 for the Z-film in 1989 seems ridiculously expensive.

  • I believe Abraham Zapruder was sent by HL Hunt to film the assassination at that spot because they knew the exact spot where the shooting would take place. What are the chances Zapruder films in one of the best positions? Hunt wanted to see Kennedy killed up close, sort of like a memento.

  • Read Lifton's book, then try to dismiss the ideas brought up in there. It's very compelling stuff.

  • Between 3.10 and 4.10 he says it all---Groden was an agent by the way.

  • was zapruder a part of the conspiracy.. where did HE say the shots came from?

  • @reefergladness Zapruder WAS part of the conspiracy. He has lied about the chain of custody of the original film. see the book KILLING KENNEDY by Harrison Edward Livingston

  • @anothercountyheard thanks mate, i might just do that ..
