  • Hey,

    Samba is great music!

Here is another very good song:

Paloma Gomes - Canta Bahia (Brazillian Samba)

  • There are only 2 countries on the planet with totally diverse populations, USA, and Brasil, and i think Brasil is much more. Like myself, my father was Russian, my mom was German, I was made in Austria, but born in Brasil, crazy, I love it I am BRASILIAN, I love my country !!! Would not trade it for any.

  • Well, it's not like we, brazilian, do here but it's instersting, i liked and i think you doing great because i know how dificcult it is to dance samba. Congrets to everyboby and how about you learn and try to show another brazilian dance like forró, zuke, samba de gafieira or frevo? Do you know some of these dances? if you don't, come here to Brazil and learn with us, everybody is welcome to come here to have fun with us and thank you all for trying to learn and show a little of our culture.

  • way better

  • I'm not talking to you guys... But people think Brazil is only samba... People here hear Samba only in carnaval... this is the kind of music you'll hear in Brazil: watch?v=lfYg--M94mU

  • bom a intencao e boa mas so que falta ritmo, entrem no you tube e vejam e ousam musicas de umbanda candomble ou ate mesmo de carnaval para que vc's possam ter um pouco mais de sentido referente a musica

    abracos

  • Samba is one of the large number of the music styles of Brazil. Here we have the Forró, Zouk, Brazilian Rock, Maracatu, Axé, Bossa Nova, "MPB", Funk Carioca, Lambada, and many other, and your subdivisions. We like so much of cultures interchanging.

  • brazil is wonderful, it is so pretty and each place has a diffrent culture

  • Brasil is so much more them samba, carnaval, beatiful women, soccer and favela. Each state has a differente culture, and the people are diferent from state to state. Brasil is fucking great and you have no idea. Me for example are from Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, land of churrasco( barbekue) for you people, the diference are that we do the meat on an iron stick. To learn more about Brasil, go search it, lasy ass. hehehe

  • Bless them!!

  • I liked it:)

  • todos hacen lo que quieren!!!! prestenles un metronomo!!!

  • it is fantastic...energetic and funny

  • The drumming is Samba. It has the same beat as the groups i seen in Brazil while there on vacation last year. I think the girls are doing a great job of dancing specially the one in green and yellow. Sure looks like the same type of dance i seen in Brazil to me.

  • I wouldn't say this is one of those huge groups in Brazil that you see in the parades with thousands of people, but they're doing a great job!

People often associate samba with semi naked girls shaking their hips, and that's wrong!!!!!!! You don't need naked women to have samba.

  • i like this, i need it for culture day. my class is doing brazil. [:

  • The best thing is: everybody is having fun on this video. Undeniable. That is the most important thing, screw the labels or the traditionalists, it is not a matter to impress somebody, it is just a true expression.

Two thumbs up plus two big toes!

  • Ok so this is for all of you people that know absolutely nothing about samba!

(Estephyyy123, zuuzuux). First of all who are you people judging these videos with your own concept, lol and besides a style is all about how you choose to persevere it. You're wasting my time and your own. Go jack off.

  • P.S.: it always puzzles me how some people with brand new youtube login names, with weird meanings, and who have not watched a considerable big number of videos on youtube, can find some "specific" videos to target with their negative comments.

  • Samba dance/music have many forms. There is the energetic samba "enredo" (the carnival samba), the batucada, the softer guitar and rhythm of Bossa Nova, more of a jazz samba, the Afro-Brazilian faster rhythm Candomble, where Samba means to invoke your personal orixa (god). African rhythms heavily influenced Brazilian music. Batucada is a style of samba and refers to an African influenced Brazilian percussive style, performed by an ensemble and characterized by its repetitive style and fast pace

  • She is actually a middle eastern dancer, but friends with Yonisha and loves the samba too.

  • O.o are you guys Brazilians?

  • No,but I have always wanted to go and see all that Brazil has to offer. I would love to travel up the Amazon to it's headwaters, Iberostar Resorts had a 200 cabin ship that used to travel up the Amazon. And then to be in Rio at Carnival...

  • @JCVdude Me too buddy.......I am an Indian...But I love Brazil same as I love my country may be more..!!
