Did you sell your 30D and your 40D for the 5D2? Looking at your videos, I thought you were a wedding photographer and I was wondering why you did that. Please correct me if I'm wrong
What lens should I get for portrait shooting? I was thinking about the 50mm 1.8 lens, because it's affordable. Is it good enough to begin with? I've been in to photography since I was 14, but I'm not like a technical geek, unfortunately, so I don't really know what's good to get. I have the 60D, but I'm not really satisfied with the kit lens. Can you give me any advice? And also, if I'm looking for some kind of flash for portrait shooting, what should I get? A ring flash? Thanks man.
@bartsphotoss Thank for replying so fast! I actually looked at the 24-70 right after writing you, and I fell a little bit in love. It's a bit out of my price range, at the moment, though, but I have definetely put it on my wishlist. What do you think about the Sigma 17-70?

@trinetis The 50mm Lens is really good for portraits but you pay for what you get.
Its a really good starter out Lens but its made so cheap some times the auto focus don't work and its been helping to a lot of people also.
If you want a really good lens for every day use Portraits get the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG
But yes I am not a fan of the 50mm 1.8 lens If i would have the money I would get the 50mm 1.4
Studio lighting I use interfit kit ex150. Ring flashes cost a lot but there fun

@trinetis Yes its also a really nice lens you get 7x more zoom its also nice for portraits and Macro photography
