Ha, ha. I agree this vid makes Trowbridge look nicer than it is. Lived there 70's-80's and my biggest memory was the smell - Bowyers Meat Pie factory (and slaughter house), Watneys/Ushers Brewery and the nearby sewage farm. That's enough to stunt your growth. One issue I do have is that the title is wrong, it should be slow TRAIN to Trowbridge as no boat could get down the River Biss, it's too shallow and you would run aground on all the shopping trolleys.

I live in Trowbridge and it's really not that bad! It's not amazing but there are plenty of worse places, just avoid Trowbridge park at night and don't go to Destinations!

Anyway I don't see what the fuss about this song is, it's not really a big insult.
