The beats and rhythm you hear on her songs aren't her own. Anybody with that kind of access to a studio and expensive equipment can sound good. Listen closely to her when she sings live. She really can't sing. At least not pop star status.

Regardless, there is a good live version of her singing "Barracuda" with Slash as a guest guitarist. And I think that her live performance of "Finally" on American Idol was also good.

@kiddadd lmao By "my logic" I never said any of those other singers couldn't sing. Whitney Houston, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Beyonce, and Mariah Carey are great singers. They can actually sing live and show you they have skills. Christina Aguilera, Corinne Bailey Rae, John Legend, John Mayer; they are all great singers and they prove it in their "live" performances. Fergie, cant compare to any of them and can only sound good in the studio.

They sound fantastic and would have given any R and B girl group a run for it. I think they sound every bit as good a Destiny's child, or TLC. @Tomcat2121 Well, the other girls are still in the music business, but more like behind the scenes now. Renee Sandstrom did a few gigs, like she sang for Princess Fiona from Shrek 1& 2. As for Stephanie Ridle, she's a song writer now, she did some music for Girlicious, some of Fergie's album and also for Pussy Cat Dolls.
