He defeats Shagon himself in S is for Self and later on transforms back in him in U is for Undivided but that's only because he's 'hard wired' for the Shagon morf. He's still Matt on the inside and from then he prefers being called Regent of Earth instead of Nerissa's former Angel of Malice
