yeah, I hate when your playing something soft w/ volume down and accidently TURN IT OFF 'cause the stupid volume knob placement. I took pliers and banged on a flat screwdriver and made a place for the volume/wires under the pickguard. It had worked out great and easy to get to...
I made a bigger cut-out for a humbucker in the middle and put the middle and bridge pickup from a HAMER USA californian in it...that's abouot it...oh yeah, lol, I glued a piece of toothbrush on the 'B' string nut and filed it down cause action was buzzing...funny but true...

OH , one more thing is the volume placement on Strat's SUCK SO BADLY I moved the damn volume out and away...you can see it out there ...
