very nicely done. thank you. you may consider a series / sequence of additional instructional sessions as one progresses. you are very good at this. alan
Because of your video, I totaled my buddies bike, lost a leg, and am going to have to sue you. just kidding. thanks for the video, it helped me out :)
a good couple of bikes would be; Kawasaki 250R, or 500R. If you are brave mabe a 600cc. Just about every manufacture makes 600's ie, Yamaha r600, or the more powerful r6. Suzuki GSX-R 600, Kawasaki ZX-6R (636cc) OR ZX6RR (600cc).
I do suggest nothing over a 600 (636 is o k) for a beginner. 600's are very balanced, light, and fast enough for a beginner. Just remember to take it slow, especially if the are new with new tires. So no sudden stops, sharp turns, untill tires are broken in. There are different styles of "crotch rockets," so let me know if you have any more questions since no one else bothered to help u.
I do not own a motorcycle right now, but I am looking to buy one. I cannot thank you enough for making these videos. You really made me much more comfortable with the idea of learning to ride a motorcycle. I will still take an MSF course to get my license, but this was a great way to prepare myself for the next steps.
This video would be much better if the first thing you did was recommend that a beginner take a local motorcycle training course before they get on a bike. And just use this video to get an idea of how things go.
Thanks Mordeth, I'm starting to save up for a bike, well a down payment, I'm gnna get one in the spring, and this video defenetly helped give me an idea, as spring gets closer I will probably be asking you more questions but this video was defenetly a good intro, I can already drive stick and I've rode a manual ATV with the same type of transmision. Thanks again mordeth!
hey Eric.. why is it that I only can watch this clip for 1min40sec ? it stops and I couldn't watch all the way through. The other video clips are fine...
mordeth 13, i think you took this vid somewhere in asia rite?... or i'm wrong??
just to say you did a good job lol, im interested in bike... trying to talk my way to learn it as well... and wut you did was very clear for understanding^^ props to you dawg.
Nice vid! One thing a first timer might want to remember is to put the sidestand up as soon as you climb on, before fiddling with the ignition, gears, etc.
Damn! That was a (short) hard, fast ride on a big bike! Damn I feel better! The only problem is that when the bike is too big, it really hurts my ass. I end up having to stop riding the big bike, and walk around for a minute. Do you have any suggestions that would help my ass not get so sore, after a long hot, hard and fast summer ride? Thanks.
Talk, talk, talk. Stop talking and RIDE! RIDE! Just RIDE! Talking is for pussies! Riding is for real men! Real men ride hard! Really hard! Hard and fast! Fast and hard! Hard and long! Long, hard and fast! Real men like it like that! Real men like to ride it long, hard and fast! Men like to go on hard, long and fast rides! The bigger the bike, the better the ride! Yeah, shut up and ride it!
Just a reminder to those watching: videos like this are great but always get professional instruction before riding on the street! (MSF course for those in the states) This obviously doesn't mean everyone who doesn't get it is a bad rider, but statistically speaking, you're a hell of a lot worse off if you don't.
Really great video! is'nt it a kawa er6f?

do you have any suggestions as far as what bikes are good for beginners? i like these "crotch rockets" but are they too powerful for a beginner?
