I love the Scream trilogy, (the third is my favourite) but I have a small issue with a fourth Scream being made:

I won't spoil it for you, but the ending of Scream 3 tied up all of the loose ends of the trilogy and left no cliffhangers lying around as far as I recall, so how could they create a good twist at the end of Scream 4 for the Scream fans who know all of the movies?

But I'm not saying that this film will suck, but what I am saying is that it will be hard for it to have as big of an impact as any of the original three IMO.

Also: The trailer showed Sidney, Gale and Dewey but not Sidney's dad. Sid's dad was the only other major character left alive apart from Sid, Gale and Dewey so what happened to him? Could he be the killer? The trailer says that the unexpected is the new cliche and I don't think anyone would think Sid's dad as evil, so maybe?

@oddworlddude It doesn't matter that Scream 3 tied up all loose ends, because that refers to the first trilogy. This is a whole new trilogy (even though Gale, Sid, and Dewey are returning), and the new generation is the main focus of the new trilogy so they will be the main targets. That opens up a whole new realm of possibilities concerning motives/possible suspects. I believe someone will be after Emma Roberts' character, and the movie will reveal who and why
