@chugs1984 That's because it's near impossible to "explain" how it's done. It's like teaching how to ride a bicycle or teaching how to sing; once you learn how to do it it's easy, but try explaining in words how to balance yourself on a bike, or try and explain how to sing from the diaphragm.

Also, it's a friggen interview, not a class. If you want to know voice acting is done, take a class and learn over a long period of time, not a 7 minute video.

John Kricfalusi ( the cartoonist who created Ren & Stimpy ) was the original voice of Ren.

Billy West did the voice for Stimpy right from the start.

Billy West didn't do the voice of Ren until after John Kricfalusi left the show.

The show suffered when Kricfalusi left.

John Kricfalusi performed the voice of Ren in the best Ren and Stimpy cartoons

( Space Madness, Big House Blues, Stimpy's Invention ).

Why does it seem like so many people are forgetting about Mel Blanc and Frank Welker. They're like the two Kings of Voice Acting. Mel can do hundreds to hundreds of unique voices and Frank is basically the "Human Sound FX Machine". They both have done over a thousand voices too. Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE Billy's talent, but I don't he's as talented as those two.
