please answer this question. When i automate something and then the automation line turns gray because i changed it without "REC ON" so it's now deactivated and how to activate it back ?
@Noiziq Wow Five Months and no one replied to you .. After you move fader that has automation and it turns grey 5 tabs right of the play button on the top will turn RED. its right next to the OVR-dub . Click it and it will put your automation back as you had it!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!! How do you automate 3rd party plugins? Like let say I am using reFX Vanguard, how would I automate a knob from it?!?!?? Please reply!!!!
@mechwarreir2 You can MIDI map the parameter and record a movement, such as a filter sweep or LFO change. We've attached a tutorial on how to MIDI map in Ableton. Let us know if this helps.
1:15 You're wrong. It does clear and resets everything, not only what you selected. I watched another tutorial after I saw that. Remove, re-script, and redo.

Hi @AKRON0S, there's an arrow at the top that's pointing to the left (near stop/play/rec). Try clicking or unclicking that and see if that works.
