clarence RIP.. the funny thing is, I love this solo, but it offers no resolution.. it barely ever hits 'that note'. (bruces creation no doubt).. maybe thats why I like it. There's more to the story, the song hasn't ended yet. But Bruce, couldn't you have given Clarence 'that note'? Maybe that encompasses the art of the song itself. Jungleland has no happy ending, it just goes on and on... but Clarence reeeallly needed (and I bet he reeaally wanted) 'that note'.
Wow, THAT is really sad. Here in Brazil the news about Springsteen and the group are not so common, so I've just got it that Big Man's dead. THAT IS REALLY SAD.
@rflbezerra yeah u will...wayne shorter. john lurie. not the SAmE, & it shouldnt be, but they;re perfekt too....&&& i so love clarence. that solo makes me cry.
well Clarence has joined my man Warren Zevon however "IF YOU BELIVE IN FOREVER THAN LIFE IS ONE NIGHT STAND' OH YEAH THEIR IS ROCKIN ROLL HEAVEN and now they have the greatest SAX PLAYER EVER
Gutted to learn that Clarence is no longer with us. Big Man, you could REALLY make a sax dance, sing and come ALIVE!!!! I'm honoured to have see you and The Boss perform live, something I'll never forget. RIP and thanks, thanks, thanks. X
God Blessed us not only for the Duration of Clarence Clemons musical career, even though he has now taken him to Heaven. He has blessed us to enjoy the treasures he left for us to relish in forever unto the next generations. So no Goodbyes to the " Big Man " for he is still within all of us that have enjoyed him from the beginning.
my god the day i find a woman who can appreciate this like i do, im set... and as a bonus if she doesnt mind a game or two of fifa its a bonus but this alone will do
Love from Cleveland Big Man.

Sad times. RIP The Big Man. Probably last time we'll hear Jungleland too, as I can't see Bruce reprising the song without the Big Man's solo ; (

well the Big Man might be gone, but the music endures. The music is just as vital now as it ever was. RIP Clarence Clemons
