RCC was before Constantine. Look at what the Church Fathers said. Does the Greek word Petros mean anything to you?

geneisanau, you just made your OWN interpretation. People have others and that is why Sola Scriptura is self defeating. The verse that was mentioned sinks the whole idea and it defeats your ideas. Since the RCC was first, you have no choice but to accept it (that it was there before your church)and that means you are wrong too if it is wrong. Know your history and do not use opinion.

You are the ones who are self defeating. The reason for the many denominations is believing that their church or church leaders have the power to save, not Sola Scriptura. If everyone was so obedient as to follow God's Word, we won't be in this state would we? You are the one who should know your history.

The Catholic Church was just Pagan Roman Emperor Constantine's excuse to unite the many religions with Christianity so that there will be no more violence and unrest in the empire, nothing more. True Christianity was watered down by the Roman Empire but was finally revived by the Protestant Reformation.

Holy Father = God the Father.

Head of the Church = Jesus Christ.

how can Sola Scriptura be true when the Bible says in 1 Timothy 3 15 says "if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God's household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth." Kind of self defeating, isn;t it? ;) YOu cna then say that someone is interpretign that wrong but if that is true, then can;t one make there own interpretation? Again, self defeating. Church over scripture.

Being the "pillar and ground of truth" does not mean the church has higher authority than Scripture and can do whatever it wants.

It means the church is supposed to set a righteous example for others to follow. If you read the context of the chapter, it is more about church conduct and how they should behave rather than having some sort of "authority".

I think a certain "church" should be more concerned about being the Church of Christ rather than the "church" of the "apostles". Good read your Bibles, the more you do, the faster you will leave the Catholic Church.

Shame on the Protestant missioners who's only mission is to divide and conquer, and destroy the Jesus flock. Prove of that will be all the campaigns that they made in Latin America, supporting all the military governments to oppressed and killed the poors specially in places like Guatemala and El Salvador. What they do, instead of giving people the Jesus real Gospel; they brought the criminal capitalism and dictactorships allies to the American interests. They still do that today.

How about from the Catechism of the Catholic Church: "Outside the (Catholic) Church there is no Salvation."  Why can't I find in the Bible that in order to go to Heaven I need to bow to and kiss the big toe of the Man of Sin who sits in the temple of God shewing himself to be God (Jesus Christ under the veil of flesh)?

Hello!

I was wery moved by this video, cause I am living in Poland. I am a born again Christian and I'd love to share something with you also. There is an overwhelming ignorance on doctrines among some Catholic. I would call it a traditional belief. People just do some rituals unaware why. And some just refuse to use their brains for doctrinal purposes. That's the problem with older generations of Catholics here. They are just ignorant of their belief system. It's not only fear.

I am a native Pole who's been born and raised as a roman catholic, I know what you are saying, it's the whole truth. Ever since I been born again + read and studied + meditated on the Bible and compared it to catholicism's dogmas/traditions/catechisms it's been as from my very eyes blinding scales fallen off like Paul's. We need as many ministries in Poland as possible as soon as possible, especially now after late pope john paul II , people been raising monuments as some type of shrines to him

I said only, that most people just don't know the doctrinal statements of catholic church and still need Christ. I am not going to cause divisions. Most of my family are catholics and I am not, but by believieng the Gospet and by admitting that salvation comes by faith and faith alone I am excomunicated even thou I don't want to be a part of catholic church. That is the doctrinal catholic statement. So who's causing divisions here?

My friend, think again. You owe yourself to look more carefully. Patrick Madrid authored a book called "Surprised by Truth" which contains testimony of various anti-catholic protestant and fundamentalist leaders who came home to Rome after studying the Bible and the church fathers properly. They realised that the Catholic Church had been right all along. You owe it to yourself to read their testimonies. It would take you no more than one day of your life.

If I could recommend only ONE testimony, I would recommend "The Bible Made Me Do It" by Tim Staples.

Tim was a protestant heavyweight, who knew his bible well, or so he thought. Protestants get an easy ride because Catholics aren't renowed for knowing their bibles. Tim began meeting Catholics who actually KNEW their bible. And the more he argued, the more he realised he had no choice but to become Catholic. YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO LOOK AT WHAT HE FOUND. It will take just one day.
